This is amazing !! My mom, grandma and sometimes my uncle would make Barbie's clothes for my sister and I. They made 2 of everything. I still have them. Just adorable !
That was fun, i loved Barbies and it brought back memories of my childhood. Thank you for sharing and id love to see your other one please, take care hon 👍👏❤️
I loved every second of your video. I was the little sister who watched my sis and her best friend ( with the Barbie Box and cool clothes) from a far... sometimes they let me be Skipper. LOL Great memories !
Thank you Thelma! Enjoyed ! I played with a Barbie and her friend, Midge. Midge had red hair. Oh how I wish I had those two dolls today. Fine memories rekindled from childhood. There were neighborhood friends and we played outside. Also, time devoted to my dear parakeet, Sparkle. And last, but not least... family was respected. Life consisted of home, church and school.
Thank you for putting that so beautifully, family values are sadly missing in many of our youth these days. Thanks for sharing your memories- what a delightful name for your pet.
Thank you for the joy!!! of blissful remembering. I still have my few favorites from childhood in the 60s. I have a gorgeous Midge with the fabulous eyeliner and a Barbie with eyelashes. They traveled the world with me and every vacation spot I would size up for Barbie-sized adventures. A garden was a lush jungle for them. A water feature/fountain was an exotic nature pool. My mom studied anthropology and New Guinea natives were fascinated by me and my Barbies and my paper dolls. I didn't have a lot of fancy Barbie clothes or a case for them so I sometimes had dreams about receiving a big box of clothes and accessories. A couple of years ago a neighbor discarded a case, when I was helping her clear out, so now I have a shiny case sort of like yours but thinner; Girl bliss explosion in my being! Your case is Fabulous!!! I adore Midge. I'm going to have to rummage in the closet and find mine tomorrow! I'm not remotely a clothes horse in real life but Barbie styles move me. lol. Thanks again. 😂 🙂
Indeed. I sold one of the cases recently and tons of the clothes. They are made better than anything at Macy's today. I still have the sultry pink evening gown, I need to list it, currently sells on ebay for approx. $100.00. Thank you again for your great comments.
Love this thelma. My mom made all my BARBIE clothes back in the early 60s. I then made many of my oldest daughters barbie clothes. Great video TY stay safe hugs
I loved this video. It was very nostalgic. I used to have a Barbie with dark hair, and my sister got Ken. The clothes are so beautifully made. Wonderful!!
I had one Barbie with the original outfit. When my daughter came along she had them all. We would stop our world about twice a year and get them all brushed and dressed. It was a blast.
Watching right now ❤️🌹 this vid made me really nostalgic. My mother used to sew clothes for my Barbies. She taught me how to sew them myself. And I made Barbie clothes for my girls when they grew up
How wonderful. I can't imagine the patience that must take. My mother made my sister and I some "groovy" clothes, but she likely would have laughed if we had requested something for our Barbies. LOL
I LOVED THIS VIDEO, WHAT FUN🌻 I HAD BROTHERS SO PLAYED WITH THERE TOYS MOSTLY, BUT I ALSO LOVED BABY DOLLS NEVER HAD BARBIE, WHEN BARBIE STARTED IN 1959, I WAS 8 AND VERY MUCH A TOM BOY. SO CANT RECALL IF I EVER WANTED ONE.👍👍👍🌻I LOVE THEM NOW THOUGH💙💙
I had that same train case as a child! I remember playing on the front lawn under the trees with my sister and the neighborhood girls. I thought the black looked so cool. My doll had a black strapless dress with the tulle flare at the bottom that I treasured!
Hi 👋 Thelma I never had a barbie always wanted one but Santa never got me one my brother bought me one one my 50 th birthday so thanks for sharing it made me smile 😃
Right! My mother had to yell for us to come back inside the house. Loved those long summer nights playing with the neighborhood kids. I'm so happy you like the ring.
🌈Such a special wardrobe of vintage outfits🥰 I loved my Barbie’s when I was a little girl in the 60s-70s ! I relived all the fun again with my own daughters, we enjoyed making clothes together 🤗 l still have hundreds of them in the loft including vintage Action men & Ken’s and all the accessories 👫, I wanted to give the Brats dolls away but I’m not allowed, they want to keep them for their future kids 😄 Please show us more! 💖💫✌🏻🇬🇧
Those tiny outfits were probably for a Tutti doll. She was the little sister for Barbie in the 1960s. Much smaller than Skipper (who was a teenager and bigger than Tutti).
Hugs to everyone who feels wiggly happiness and a rush of memories, watching this. Hugs to everyone else too. 🙂 P.S. my childhood boyfriend had GI Joes and they had a huge Jeep and my Barbie soul Coveted that Jeeeep. He was always sending his men into battle with firecrackers. Poor guys. 😗 ☺
LOL!!! what a fantastic comment. I love it. My grandchildren at play brings back so many memories of childhood bliss. Thank you for watching and sharing such a cute memory.
Ohhhh🥲My Granddaughters all outgrew their Barbie’s.!😭I miss playing with them with their little doll houses. So much fun. Until my 7 yr old Granddaughter ( I’ll call her ‘S’), ‘stuffed her Barbie to be Pregnant !!🥱🤭🥱☺️I didn’t rest though, thought it was best. I just smiled and asked,’ what’s up with Barbie?😆
Gowns and tiny accessories go for the most. I don't think that barbie case alone is worth 1000 or more. No. I usually estimate $10 per item average and gowns $75. The sunbonnet and the smallest clothing is for youngest sister Tutti. Skipper was the middle daughter. All the shoes you showed are Mattel for Barbie and Skipper.
Oh my goodness, I'm imagining all the awesome ways you could set up Barbie to model these clothes and I think it would be my favorite listing binge ever. Share a couple shots if you get creative with it 😍

Thank you so much Chris.
Those clothes are made so much better than today's clothes for Barbie 🌞🦋
I think so too!
I loved every second of your video. I was the little sister who watched my sis and her best friend ( with the Barbie Box and cool clothes) from a far... sometimes they let me be Skipper. LOL Great memories !

My mom made tons of Barbie clothes and other doll clothes plus was a doll maker too. She’s made me a matching outfit too.
How sweet, I can't imagine how special that must have made you fee. Thanks for sharing Patti.

Aren't they though, the tailoring is top notch. ❤
1963 that's the year I was born lol, I love the first top ❣️ Thanks Thelma 🥰🦋
Love it!!
I love ❤️ this it reminds me of how much I played with my Barbie’s..
Thank you for watching Maureen.
I enjoy vintage and new Doll items. Dolls and doll clothes are what started me out on my reselling journey.
That is awesome!
Loved my Barbies! And my baby dolls too. Enjoyed the video Ms Thelma
Thank you Amy.

Right! I think that's why toys are timeless for so many. I had such a great time looking through this amazing wardrobe. LOL
Omg the Barbie case ! I saved up for mine when I was a wee one ! Mine was red It cost 3$ in 1966
Omg I love them so much, I love finding them, because I never had one of my own. LOL
@@ThelmaThrift
We were fairly poor hence me not just getting one but having to earn it 💩 3$ was a lot of $ back then 🤣
Kollotz before shorts skirts.
I had that same train case as a child! I remember playing on the front lawn under the trees with my sister and the neighborhood girls. I thought the black looked so cool. My doll had a black strapless dress with the tulle flare at the bottom that I treasured!
Ooh I'll bet that was a fabulous dress. I loved playing outdoors.

What a wonderful brother you must have. Thank you for sharing.
Aww. I loved my Barbie and playing with Barbie dolls! Memories 💜💕❤️ ps.. got my ring! Love it! Ps... I liked climbing trees too!😆

Loved this! Took me down memory lane
I’m so glad. I have to list more of these clothes. They sold like hotcakes on eBay♥️
Gaby would love this 🥰 she collects them
I hope you're doing well, text me.
What a great Barbie haul.
Thank you 🤗

Awe, I got the same request from my son about his Transformers. I wish I would have kept my daughter's 80/90s barbies. Thanks so much for watching.
I just recently found two vintage Barbies in their boxes with clothes, but you definitely scored what great finds everything is in great condition!
That is awesome! Thank you for watching.
Me and my sister used to play Barbies she had the Salon Set
My daughter's had the wonderful play sets and those snazzy cars. LOL Thanks for commenting Emily.
Wow brings back memories
I know, it was such fun for me.
Jackie ‘O’ outfits!!!🤗❤️🥱
Indeed; effortlessly chic.
Such fun! That little red hot pants number was tailored to perfection and the shell pink formal gown with that sweep -
oh boy, Barbie had the clothes😍
Didn't she though.
Hello from Sweden! I got a Barbie in 1962 and she is still "alive". I like making clothes for her so please show us the rest of your Barbie clothes!
Awe, thank you Winnie, I so appreciate you watching. I'm more in love with Barbie now than ever.
Loved these finds! Let’s see the other box!
Thank you for asking, it turns out the other box was empty, I guess they doubled up and stuck all the clothing in one box. Thank you for watching.
I never had a barbie, mainly because my divorced mum could not afford to get three girls all barbies.
Yes, of course. Thank you for watching Kerrie.
So much fun!
Thank you Kelly.
Culottes was what you were trying to remember
yes! Thank you!
Hi I love this video
Thank you Ellen.
I used to make Barbie clothes for my daughter and granddaughters. Patterns around here somewhere.
Really, Barbara - I imagine those patterns are worth a ton up on ebay. LOL
I loved Barbie
She's an absolute icon if there ever was one. Thank you for watching.
So much fun! My grandma would take me to Sears to pick out a new Barbie outfit once a month…..good memories 😊.
Awe what a sweet memory.
As a recovering Barbie addict, that was dangerous to watch 😄. But I enjoyed it very much.
LOL, thank you so much for watching.
London Fog coat😍☺️
Two at that so cool!

Thank you so much for the information. I've never heard of Tutti. Thank you for watching as well.
Scored on this one Thelma...
Thank you!

Had a sindy doll sent from Canada.
Nice, I've never seen those. Thanks for watching.

‘Not rest!’ React.☺️
OMG!!! how funny, I love that. I had a silly cousin who would stuff her shirt and waddle around like she was pregnant. LOL Thanks for watching.
If you were thinking about the clothing item that looked like a skirt but had built in shorts underneath, my mom called that a “scooter skirt.”
So many different names. Thanks so much for watching.
I have the same Barbie case, but when I moved across the country my entire box of vintage Barbies never arrived, among about five or more other boxes.
oh no! how heartbreaking.

What is your eBay shop name?
It was probably twins and mom bought doubles of everything.
That's what I was thinking.
Collotts
indeed. Thanks
They were called culottes
I went totally blank, thank you so much.
I had a pair when I was a kid
