I can't believe you said this about lipliner 😂 but I totally agree- firstly it looks like too much, secondly anything that is against the ongoing trend is what makes you stand out :) The simple, more natural lips, like you did today, look so much more atttactive and classy in my opinion. I agree...I have never used lipliner. Tried once or twice but never really liked it on me. Lipstick alone works just fine for me.😊
Less than 5 mins in and omg thank you so much! Indian, or rather South Asians in general, have this tendency to have deep set eyes + extreme dark circles (myself included). A colour correcter is vital to even that out!
On a separate note, I see so many videos on how to do makeup for hooded eyes but hardly any for deepset eyes with natural shadows 😔 i think that is very common feature among South Asians. Would love to see you do a colourful makeup look on a brown girl 😍

I am hispanic and I have to use color corrector. I have always had darker circles, but once I had kids and up all night with newborns, my under eyes got even darker. I am now 51 and my kids are 22 and 19 and the dark circles have not faded...haha! I use NYX color corrector. I will have to give Huda Beauty a try!

If it's in your budget, have you tried the tarte color corrector? If the dark circles are super duper dark, I would try the peach corrector. Because I don't know the color of your skin, I would start there, that might help ❤😊

New found respect for you. I'm so glad you commented on the Instagram lips. Maybe it's my age but I could never get on board with it and much prefer a natural light glossy lip. Actually makes me look more youthful and less goth. Nothing wrong with goth but it aged me 10yrs

Love the concealer on the face trick. I find myself using fewer foundations and skin tints in the summer, it’s just too hot and humid, and instead painting light coverage concealer “whiskers” onto my inner cheeks and buffing them out to cover just what I need. It’s fast, impactful and I don’t have to worry about matching my concealer and foundation.

I wanted to suggest you the Matte Sun Stick SPF 50+ with Mugwort and Camelia from Beauty of Joseon since you love so much the sunscreen from the same brand. I find the stick very useful, because I get to reapply SPF over my makeup when going to work or even when I don’t wear makeup but I am outside.

First of all, I just want to say what a nice lady you are! There are several brands here in the States that have color correctors. I use a corrector from Nikol cosmetics. She has great eye primer too.

💯 agree about your comment on colour correction. I’m mixed and have the darkest under eye pigmentation. I can only cover it with colour corrector. I’ve just got the huda beauty one it is awesome. A perfect mix of orange and pink which corrects AND brightens. Finally someone acknowledges that the needs of non white folk are different and relevant. 🎉

Oh my gosh, you are so right about everyone looking the same! Especially with the lipliner thing; when I see people with the dark liner with a beige lip I think I’m back at high school in the 90’s 😱😂. It can look nice though if the line is blended blended a little, to more of an ombré effect- in my opinion of course!
