Ecofriendly Decoration For Bath Products! Glitter, Mica, & Sparkles!

- Today I'm taking you into the world of ecofriendly decoration. Glitter sizes: Ultra fine - . 2mm, Fine - . 4mm, chunky - .6 mm, extra chunky - 1 mm, & super chunky - 3 mm. Different finishes: metallic, holographic, iridescent, jewel toned, pearl, & matte. ***NOTE: Don’t buy glitter just because you think it's cute. Ask yourself if you're really going to use it (don’t try to think of a reason to use it either- that's cheating!) lol. Don't be like me with an entire shelf center dedicated to just glitter… I'm not complaining, I'm just saying I won't be able to use all that in a lifetime! Hemway won't be restocking their eco glitter, but there are fantastic choices available. *Cotton candy is my favorite glitter of all*. It goes with ANY color, theme, project, etc. NOTE: Cotton candy is lightweight & EXTREMELY fragile. I forced my cotton candy glitter to fit in a 4 oz. jar & crushed all the big pieces in the process. Super sparkles are similar to mica but they have a much bigger flake/micron size & are a lot more sparkly. Jewel toned glitters have a main color in a certain light, then a completely different color in another light. The pearl glitter is a soft white glitter that is semi-transparent. It's not sparkling. Use it on a dark colored bath product to be visible. I highly doubt it's visible in water. SPRINKLES: Sprinkles are perfect to jazz up any bath product. I highly recommend silver stars glitter, gold star sprinkles, & the metallic dragees. The mermaid tales & unicorn sprinkles can be used in bath salts, bath soaks, bath bombs, etc. I get inspired just looking at them. NOTE: Glitter in bath products are NOT FDA approved. This does NOT mean that it is illegal, prohibited, or unsafe to put it in bath products. * Mica is also eco-friendly & IS FDA approved for bath items.

Most probably do. lol. But don't. I won't use all that in a life time. All you need is a few great colors & you're set! I have maybe 3-5 that I use all the time. I suppose it is nice to pick out exactly color & size, but definitely not worth the money!

Love your channel so much. I have made several items from your beautiful bath products. This was so interesting. Thank you so much for the lesson. I am not familiar with glitter in bath products, always afraid that it would stick to everything it touched and I didn't want to have to clean it out of the tub. But I have seen on other social media platforms of mixing the 1 TBS cornstarch and 1C of water and coloring and making glitter. I have done it and love it. And I know it just dissolves in the bath water.
