  • We take a look at the Tool Shop 2 Gallon Air Compressor. Decent overall; might want to op for a larger air compressor.

I just inherited one of these compressors. Is it powerful enough to inflate car tires. To around 32 > 34 psi?

I caught it on sale at Menards. 1 week and a half ago. I bought it for the sale price. Not smart. As the old saying goes. " You get what you pay for. I read on the box it worked with an airbrush. None of connectors will fit my airbrush. Because of the price. I thought it would be perfect for me to get back into my airbrushing..... But according to this video it sucks......😅 And one other thing. They would have done better to skip the taping of the connectors. Whoever taped it, did not bother to test it.....A rookie pipe fitter could have done a better job......never seen so much wasted tape.....I installed fittings for water tanks and fittings. This was sloppy. When I saw that, I knew the machine was CRAP 😳

I got mine setup and I closed the drain valve and air is leaking from the hole that is in the center of the nut. Is that normal ?

Turn the stem all the way to the right (stem extends all the way out to hold pressure). Turn to left to drain (snug to the tank) to release water when finished. It's opposite of what you'd normally do!

Add a 5 gallon air tank to this and you can take the lug nut off of your car with a 1/2" impact with no problem.

Absolute junk they don't last. I'm on my 3rd one in 2 years with light use mainly for filling tires. Menards is regretting their 1 year warranty on this cheap POS...lol.

Lol. Still have mine. Working great. Didn't expect much but I'm happy with my purchase. Wish I went with a larger one though.
