@@fishyaker I have 7' okuma Reflexion MHA 12-25 lbs line weight and 3/8 - 1 1/4 lure , I think Helios SX 3000 matches perfectly, but I ask for your advice because you have already test both. Thank you!
At $58 for the 4000, is it still a good value? I will be using it with an ugly stik gx2 6'6 medium. I will be doing some bass fishing from a pier. I have not fished since I was a kid.
all the good reviews on this reel bumped it up to $65 for even the 3000. speaks volumes on the reel
Metal arm, but check the plastic that drives main gear, they break and sloppy tolerances on hex internal drive
Hello there. How would you compare this EPIXOR XT vs the HELIOS SX ?
Thanks! The Helios has higher tolerances. I honestly really like both though. 😁
Hi I have a 7' okuma Reflexion spinning rod, what size reel you regomend 3000 or 4000?
And between Helios SX or Epixor XT ??
Cool! Which weight is it? I use 3000's on MLs and 4000's on M's. I like the Helios SX a little bit more, but I've been testing it longer.

Do they make it in a 6000 or 7000 series for saltwater? Wondering how they would hold up to saltwater corrosion.
Up to a size 55. The CFR rotor is also designed to shed water, with saltwater in mind. :-)
@@fishyaker What size would thet be? Somewhere between a 5000 and 6000?
Yep!

So now that it's been a few months, would you still suggest it? Pros/cons?
No real cons, yet. Still holding up great! :-)
@@fishyaker thanks for the reply. Definitely picking it up now or have you come across something better at a similar price?
$33.00 on Amazon. Listed as an Amazon Choice product.
Sweet! I put this one through the paces today too, and it did great!
Go BYU
Yeah!!!!!! :-)
