Daphnee Oh I consider texture in terms of the technique I use not color. For instance, I prefer foil highlights on curly hair and balayage for straight hair etc.

Remember people, these are just some standard "guidelines"...You don't have to follow them. Do what makes you comfortable and confident, and chances are that will be more noticeable and beautiful than any color combination. :)
People with Auburn hair (Auburn is a darker shade of red or a reddish brown colour) tend to have more neutral or warmer skin tones than those with actual red hair.

Try seeing what you look good in. How does you skin look in light pastel blues and purples? Good? Then, chances are you are cool. If your skin pops in a red dress, then you're probably warm. If you can rock both equally amazing you are neutral. Hope I helped :)

Brittney E I'm a natural "dirty blonde" also and have blue eyes, I've dyed my hair all sorts of shades of red and it looks GREAT! Not to sound conceited or anything of course, but it makes the blue eyes pop sooo much. I say do it! 🖤
You could get lighter blonde highlights with strawberry blonde or copper lowlights. That way you get a bit of colour and it lighter, this combo is also quite subtle as you keep some of the original colour. (Ask your hairdresser and friends as I can't physically see you)

Shan sulli Welcome! I'm not a fan of Japanese straightening. I don't perform the service but I have clients who have had it done by someone else and their hair is very week and damaged. Not worth it. It kills your hair in my opinion.

Depends on the type of brown, not all brown eyes are the same. reddish or golden brown eyes look good with warm colors and deeper brown eyes look good with cool colors

I have blue veins but yellow skin. Pretty sure the yellow skin outweighs the blue veins so I would be more warm.. don’t know though lol. When you hold a torch to my skin it’s very yellow. I’m pale and blue veined still . None of this makes sense
Gina you are probably neutral! I got blue veins slightly teal but my skin is peachy and undertone is yellow. When I got a test at Sephora they said I was neutral with yellow undertones and you might be the same!

I might be mistaken, but your neck seems to be a little more yellow toned than your face. If this is so, you are probably neutral. I am neutral with slightly more warm undertones, but have redness to my face.
Another good way to check is the jewelry test. Place a silver bracelet on one wrist and a gold on the other. If the silver compliments your skin more, you are cooler. If the gold looks better, you are warm. If both look good, you are neutral. If both look good, but one slightly more than the other... you are neutral leaning towards a cool or warm depending on which color looks slightly better.
My skin tone is very white, I have a brown/kind of green eyes, my natural hair is very dark and my eyebrows too. Right now I have a ash golden color, in a level 9 (actually have dimension, some of the hairs are level 8), I really like how it looks to me, but idk if it's suits me or not. Harmony Brown yep I have to tan my whole body to match the "lightest" foundation. And even with 2 layers of "extra dark" fake tan I am only the same shade as an "average" person. Every foundation looks slightly orange next to my skin.
Great video that pretty much just confirmed what I already knew. I'm pale and fairly neutral undertoned. I have light blue eyes, plenty of freckles, and copper red hair looks best on me. It really does pop. And even though I'm not one to want more attention drawn to me, my natural hair color just makes me look so washed out, I can't imagine going back now. Redhead for life!
You go by what your eyes appear AS A WHOLE. Almost everyone has different color pigment on the iris muscle. But standing back, what color do your eyes appear to be?

As a goth I can’t use grey toned colors. It just looks terrible on me I think, so I tend to use more warmer tones in my makeup and hair colors. Such as red-violet, magenta, dark orange, black, dark brown... My eye are hazel (brown center/green outside), skin tone is neutral but pale. Imagine Kristy Yamaguchi mixed with Shannon Doherty mixed together and that’s me lol 😂

so I'm naturally a light blonde. but my hair has just naturally darkened over time, I have dirty blonde hair now but on the darker side. next to blondes i look light brown, next to brunettes I look dirty blonde. I still feel kind of loss. I'm really pale with an olive-neutral undertone, light brown eyes and light brown hair with a pretty present auburn tone to it (more orangey than red though) and I have dark eyebrows. I'm pretty sure I can only pull off shades of brown but I really love the red in my hair and have been wanting to bring it out recently, like possible dye it but I'm not sure if it would look good. I don't want to go full on red, I still want to be a brunette just much more auburn in it
Oh and in the middle I had indigo blue hair and purple (the real purple!) with my natural brown roots. I have to say it was awesome! It complements me but it's just to high maintenance so choices had to be made 😉

If you have blue eyes and warm to neutral skin color I think that silver highlights would be great for you! Or platinum ashy blonde. Nit if you like unnatural colors I think sliver with hints of purple would look great, something like lilac color but at the same time silverish, sorry for complicating hahaha, it's harder to explain cause I have no pictures.
I have neutral/ warm skin and I've dyed my hair both warm and cool toned and although both work for me I definitely suit cool tones the best. So it really depends.
Hazel eyes are a combination of green and brown, so I'm guessing they would look good with anything (since brown is a combo of all colors), especially red.
I have hazel eyes and I rocked a bright red for a while it looked super good. I also have a warm undertone. The red was more on the warm side. The red brings out the green in my eyes. I now have warm brown hair with blonde at the ends that is also warm toned. Which brings out the brown. I feel like almost anything will work but you also need to pay attention to your undertones so it works with both
I’m sure I have warm golden undertones for my olive complexion. I’ve never changed my hair color. It’s dark ash brown and my eyes are the darkest of dark brown you mentioned. So my eyes and hair are dark and cool but my skin is basically greenish yellow. I’ma woman, but the celeb who went blonde who I think has my skin tone is Jay Manuel. I have been letting my grey hair grow in. I learned from the video that I could suit the coolness of my eyes with a cooler ash hair color or i could suit my warm skin (in the hot climate) with hair more golden or coppery. It seems expensive to maintain a hair color. How much do people pay in a year who keep nice professional color? I’m torn between trying something lighter or just naturally greying.

You could get lighter blonde highlights with strawberry blonde or copper lowlights. That way you get a bit of colour and it lighter, this combo is also quite subtle as you keep some of the original colour. (Ask your hairdresser and friends as I can't physically see you)

Shan sulli Welcome! I'm not a fan of Japanese straightening. I don't perform the service but I have clients who have had it done by someone else and their hair is very week and damaged. Not worth it. It kills your hair in my opinion.

Depends on the type of brown, not all brown eyes are the same. reddish or golden brown eyes look good with warm colors and deeper brown eyes look good with cool colors

I might be mistaken, but your neck seems to be a little more yellow toned than your face. If this is so, you are probably neutral. I am neutral with slightly more warm undertones, but have redness to my face.
Another good way to check is the jewelry test. Place a silver bracelet on one wrist and a gold on the other. If the silver compliments your skin more, you are cooler. If the gold looks better, you are warm. If both look good, you are neutral. If both look good, but one slightly more than the other... you are neutral leaning towards a cool or warm depending on which color looks slightly better.
My skin tone is very white, I have a brown/kind of green eyes, my natural hair is very dark and my eyebrows too. Right now I have a ash golden color, in a level 9 (actually have dimension, some of the hairs are level 8), I really like how it looks to me, but idk if it's suits me or not. As a goth I can’t use grey toned colors. It just looks terrible on me I think, so I tend to use more warmer tones in my makeup and hair colors. Such as red-violet, magenta, dark orange, black, dark brown...

Hey I know that I probably won’t get an answer but it would be great if someone could tell me what color to get ( I would also like not natural colors but a couple hair stylists said it wouldn’t work that well on me) I have fairly light to medium brown hair and it goes about to my chest. Nit if you like unnatural colors I think sliver with hints of purple would look great, something like lilac color but at the same time silverish, sorry for complicating hahaha, it's harder to explain cause I have no pictures.

I have hazel eyes and I rocked a bright red for a while it looked super good. I also have a warm undertone. The red was more on the warm side. The red brings out the green in my eyes. I now have warm brown hair with blonde at the ends that is also warm toned. Which brings out the brown. I feel like almost anything will work but you also need to pay attention to your undertones so it works with both

I’m sure I have warm golden undertones for my olive complexion. I’ve never changed my hair color. It’s dark ash brown and my eyes are the darkest of dark brown you mentioned. So my eyes and hair are dark and cool but my skin is basically greenish yellow. I’ma woman, but the celeb who went blonde who I think has my skin tone is Jay Manuel. I have been letting my grey hair grow in. I learned from the video that I could suit the coolness of my eyes with a cooler ash hair color or i could suit my warm skin (in the hot climate) with hair more golden or coppery. It seems expensive to maintain a hair color. How much do people pay in a year who keep nice professional color?
