Balances & Options is definitely one of Quik’s best albums. Personally its in my top 3 of his discography along with Rhythm-Al-Ism and Safe + Sound. Its sad that Quik doesn’t get more credit for being the multi-faceted & intelligent artist that he is. Sadly I think that it takes a special type of listener to truly appreciate what he brings to the table.

As a fan I "gotta" say Quik had the better diss track. His punchlines were a little more witty, but both had an impressive hip hop run and will always be prominent fixtures in the game.They both gave birth to so many trends and rhyme styles.
