Mad Max put Terry Hayes on map; I Am Pilgrim in books! INTERVIEW

- 'I Am Pilgrim' author Terry Hayes has some pretty impressive film credits to his name, including three with actor Mel Gibson: 'Payback,' 'Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior,' and 'Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome,' as well as 'From Hell' starring Johnny Depp, and 'Dead Calm,' with Nicole Kidman.
What's noteworthy about Hayes' career-besides the fact he worked with Gibson during the rise of the actor's career-is that as far as IMDB goes, Hayes fell off the face of the earth after writing 'From Hell' in 2001. That, of course, was 13 years ago.
Did he spend an entire decade writing 'I Am Pilgrim'? If so, it was worth it. But don't worry -- I'll ask.

I loved this book so much I wait a couple of years and read it again.... and again.
hello Mr. Hayes, I am a German obsessed with learning languages I live in Ruse, Bulgaria even though I guess I should be in Germany right now offering my services interpreting between German and Arabic but anyway today I was in Rumania which is just across the old Danube bridge here and just before coming back to Ruse I picked up a paperpack at the last gas station before the border and I have never read about you and your book was the one that I chose. So I thank you for sharing so much, book, interviews, great abd all the best, I like it. Achim König born in the Black Forest greetings to you
Absolute tosh Mr Barch. Millions cannot be wrong. One of the best novels ever.
Best book I ever have read. Im 59 been reading since I was 7, so it says something!!
Lorraine Dantu 'millions cannot be wrong' - sure, popularity is synonymous with taste. Don't be a clown all your life. If you think it's one of the best novels ever it's probably the only one you've ever read.
Where is the 2nd novel year of the locust Mr Hayes?
Smażony story!
Plow through the first 250 pps and you get to the real thriller
Is there a way to write to Mr. Hayes?
incredible book - nothing else in the terrorist/spy thriller comes close
Absolutely,I have reread it 3 times. Much better by far than THE DAY OF THE LOCUST.
Mr. Hayes, the book was interesting but you were misinformed about just about everything. I am glad you wrote that bullshit but I would bet that you did not speak to three people that actually knew me. As far as Parker wait until you get to see some of the real players. You weren't even close and the real joke will be who knew most of the story all along. Ask Dumas Tim if he can remember another close buddy of his that met his maker too soon. This is much deeper than the shallow piece of writing you did.
You are talking rubbish
