All the knotts Landing cast were excellent. Michelle was brilliant.
Loved loved loved Knots Landing! I watching it again on Dailymotion as I write this.
I also remember her as 'Dottie West' on 'Big Dreams & Broken Hearts. It was in the 90's, I have it on, yes, VHS, and I still watch it from time to time. She was great in that role.
fabulous actress Michelle
So glad she mentioned the strong men on the show as well. Something a lot of women nowadays don't want to do.
Who remembers " pollyanna" ?
Classic scene of Karen's with Gary.
Happy 80th Birthday Michele Lee
She's hilarious 😂
And boy was she the perfect matriarch for a series like Knots Landing.
she's soo good. wish she was on more and more.
I adore Michele Lee.
What an incredible career Michelle Lee has had on film, Broadway and on television!
Great interview from 2013.
I loved the Val's babies story line as well. It was so brilliantly crafted and kept us on the edge of our seats. Ultimately, it was Ava Gardner's character who tips off Abby about where the babies were and that's running parallel to Mac and Michelle finding them simultaneously. Only issue with the plot was, I would think even in the 80s someone in Valene's position would have hired a lawyer to find out how this could have happened. Lots of depositions. The hospital would be on the hook. But that aside, amazing story-telling.
The Love Bug will forever be my Favorite and most memorable film she was in
Michelle is a Doll.
Great Actress, Singer & Dancer.
She's truly, brutally honest.
Don’t forget her role in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”.
Of all the Knots Landing women she still looks the best.
She’s very pretty. And she can sing wonderfully well, too.
I was named after this lady, my mommas favorite.❤
my fav !!!
I loved 'Knot's Landing.' What kept me watching? Michelle Lee et Karen Fairgate. I love Karen Fairgate.
I think this was filmed in 2013 per IMDB as no mention of a later taping of it.
Michele Lee excellent as Karen!! ❤
She was a bloody good character.
Karen Fairgate MacKenzie was my hero
Her first name is spelled Michele ..
Love Michelle Lee very talented ❤
❤ Michele Lee
She sounds like Judith light in a way. She’s a great actress.
She will always be Carol Bennet from Disney’s The Love Bug!
She is absolutely charming. I'd go for coffee with her anytime. Confession: I've never seen Knot's Landing. I remember her from that Herbie movie and her guest spots on shows in the 70s.
If Tanya Roberts had kept her dark hair, she would have resembled Michele Lee!
Michele is Beautiful.
She resembles Lee Grant here
Beautiful person. I hope you can get Constance McCashin, Bill Devane or Nicollette Sheridan!
I have considered Michele to be a guest star on Desperate Housewives.
Michelle was great as singer Dottie West!!
Too bad you decided to monetize these interviews. Constant ads ruin them.
ANOTHER video with "ENSAMBLE" - it's ENSEMBLE FFS. How do people not know this?
I never saw many Blacks on knots Landing except for those 2 seasons with Lynn Moody and her family. What was Ms. Lee talking about? I am a fan, but where were these Blacks that she spoke of?
I remember that Larry Riley was the only main cast member and sadly he succumbed to AIDs and died during the last season. Lynne Moody as you mentioned who played his wife and really annoyed me she did not have much to do after her story line of witness protection was solved and then killed off by Danny. It was also one of Halley Berry's first roles as a possible love interest for Larry Riley's character. I did like when Kent Masters King the daughter got revenge for her mother's death. That was a classy closure to the character of Danny and was not expected. Other than that you are right. Do not recall any other black actors on show. Maybe she means those behind the scenes who kept show running? No clue.
Re: the Williams family. When she talks about race not being an issue on the show because nobody talked about it, that strikes me as a cop-out because it’s pretending like racial factors don’t even exist among integrated neighbourhoods. I’m sure she thinks that’s a progressive viewpoint but it’s also a sign that white people such as herself are uncomfortable acknowledging the historical inequality.
@@DeepScreenAnalysis well, I certainly don't want to assume anything about Ms. Lee on a personal level. But different races, religions, and lifestyles should certainly be able to exist together and tell great stories with and about their differences! We are not all the SAME. But, we are all EQUAL!!
@@jeffreymcdaniel6813 yes, I agree! It’s better to acknowledge differences and admire them instead of pretend they are not there for whatever reason.
Karen was a goody goody buttinski. Karen's addiction story was so boring it led to record low ratings and nearly got the show cancelled.
It’s Michele with one L.
She’s still tasty.
Reminds me of an early unrefined version of Jennifer Aniston.
She is so up herself. She ruined Knots Landing with her over the top acting.
She just seems like an actor with a strong and dramatic personality in real life but with a heart and she really doesn’t seem to take herself too seriously otherwise I don’t think she’d be so willing to display her goofy sense of humor and laugh so much. And I don’t think anything “ruined” Knots Landing seeing as though it was a big hit. If it was ruined it would’ve been a failure. But to each his own.
Michele is an accomplished actor and she was the moral compass of the show for it's entire run.
@@kekwayblaze3176 So this actress has never ceased to remind us for forty years.
I love you:))
