I’m 15 year old, and all the music is created originally by me from scratch. You will be very surprised. It takes so much hard work and it’s hard to get noticed even if it’s good quality. I have heard a couple mashups recently where is is like the songs are made with the other in mind and are literally perfect for each other. It seems to me that when you hear those kinds of mashups, it usually means that the person making the mashup is that good they can mix them perfectly (and pick songs which suit each other well enough to be mixed well).
I heard this in an animatic and then looked it up afterwards, but I had no idea that this was actually a mashup until I did, that's how well this is put together. It's so good!

Im sad to hear that Jon Bellion fans amd AJR fans have beef. Personaly i love both Jon Bellion and AJR. I started out with AJR's album The Click and fell in love, then I found Jon Bellion and found it to be a slightly grittier and darker version of AJR (I say version because I heard them first). I think that the two bands are different enough to not be copies. I really hope that the artists dont dislike one other.
The essence of "coming of age," being 26, a layoff in the middle of a global pandemic, the obligations of starting a family and taking care of it all the while trying to hold onto some assemblage of past things, while recognizing some people aren't here in our lives to stay and accepting that people I know will die, and trying to find small times to be human and take out the Lego sets once in awhile...this song hits it all.
Man, i've listened to this so many times, and it just seems to get better! This really describes how I feel all the time. It's like, I'm angry at myself, feel super guilty about things that I couldn't ever control all the time, but I'm still trying to be upbeat. I don't know, this just really speaks to me! I guess it's because it's upbeat enough for me to not feel sad, but also a sad song overall.
I'm so sad this isn't on spotify, it's mixed so well And that's not just about the music and the lyrical structure, the lyrics themselves are mixed so incredibly well, too. It combines a song about leaving a person you love in a bad way with a song about bargaining to not have to fully grow up into an entirely new song about the pain of moving on

The reason the songs works so well together is cause both songs are in the same key (D major) and their bpm is almost the same. Also I love the mashup, its slaps harder then my parents slap me
I had never listened to these songs individually. After looking them up I certainly feel like they’re missing something, now that I’ve listened this mashup way too many times lol
Every day I wait for a collaboration between AJR and Jon Bellion, and every day I am disappointed. They are my top two favorite artists, and both of them deserve so much more recognition than they have. You did a really good job with the mix!
