I think straight ally actors and actresses like Caity are very brave and compassionate people for taking on the responsibility of the LGBT community representation. But their personal lives shouldn't be questioned, because they end up being typecast for acting work. I know that when I was going out for auditions, I was very fearful of this. To be honest, I am gay, but would I take on roles for LGBTQ? Probably not, because I'm a new actor and would be stuck in gay typecasting indefinitely.
