Other crossovers in this segment. Turbo petrol + DCT gearbox + ventilated seats(some) + Sunroof + leather seats + much more premium interiors. Still less price than the so called VFM Brezza. I was eyeing on the ZXI+ Automatic but after knowing the pricing , I'll have to reconsider my options.
Missing features at 14 lacs ex showroom for ZXI+ AT 1) Ventilated seats 2) TPMS 3) Leatherette seats. Maruti is not known for unnecessary features, so why ambient lightning and no TPMS. Most people don't own wireless chargeable phones, it could have been accessory. I have one question : Android auto is wired or wireless?
Instead of ventilated seats we get sunroof to add more heat in deadly summer! Ventilated seats are more important than sunroof and ambient lighting(which is not visible even in brochure photo, too small)!

You also miss Leatherette seats and uv cut glass from xl6. Price almost similar to xl6. Size wise xl6 is in C segment, has 3 rows and misses only curtain airbag.
Maruti Suzuki was king, is king and will be king in the Car market in India. New Baleno, Breeza and Grand Vitara, Ertiga like cars are changing the marketing status of Maruti. Maruti Suzuki's Swift Dzire is a car which is seen on road in large numbers. Tata, Mahindra,Hyundai, Kia Skoda, Nissan are making very good cars with high and average safety ratings but from the very beginning in car industry, Maruti Suzuki was the first car company which introduced first Alto 800. Though there are huge numbers of doubts regarding Maruti Suzuki's safety ratings, but this car company is also working on this as we see in Baleno. Have a great journey Brezza.😊😊
I badly miss the ddis dual jet diesel engines. It has crazy punch and fuel efficiency. I still remember my uncle had a Ritz vdi. My uncle had often highway runs. It has crazy torque and 17 - 18 kmpl of fuel efficiency. It was smooth on the highway, was rock solid at 120 and reliable (for a hatch during those times). Plz bring back your diesel engines, Maruti. Most of the units sold were also diesel during those times... I really loved the fiat - maruti diesel engines.

Nah bro.. Features brezza new model has more.. HUD, 6 AirBags, 360 camera i guess every other feature it competes with nexon. coming to milage officially claimed milage of brezza is 19.8 where for nexon is 17 for petrol so brezza has upper hand here and safety wise i dont think new variant will have 4 star this time with all the major updates ( airbags, hill hold assist, rear camera, 360 came ) so it will have 5 star. so now i guess brezza has upper hand over all. Also brezza is a bit taller and shoulder space is more. It is no doubt best family economy car.

In the price range of its top specs it is better to consider other brands with lot of them offering bigger cars and specifically diesel also......KIA is also bringing updated seltos soon...

Budget is 8-9, buying from CSD, running will be less than 500 km/ month in Himachal village, petrol variant, IMT/AMT, pakka roads with few rough patches, good ground clearance, first time driver, safety is the top most priority. Nexon, Brezza and i20 are a few options in mind. Ok with both SUV and hatchback. People complain about Nexon engine so little confused. Please suggest. Thanks in advance

There is absolutely no issue in post sale service here in gujarat. I think the negative reviews of bad services depend upon the locations and dealerships. Reports of bad services are mostly from north india....and there also reportedly Tata has worked a lot to improve. Do check out in your location about their services.
TATA Nexon xza+ is better than Suzuki brezza vxi automatic with same price. TATA Nexon Xms is better than Suzuki brezza vxi with 50k less on road price. TATA xz is better than Suzuki brezza vxi with same price. Suzuki brezza top end manual is costlier than TATA Nexon top end automatic. I think Suzuki is doing same mistake as Hyundai done with i20 overpricing.
Dude Tata's automatic is AMT while Brezza 's automatic is Torque Converter which is much superior . The latter is costly . Moreover Brezza engine is much more refined although on power it is lower than Nexon .And Brezza is a 1.5L engine so taxes are higher than Tata's or any 1.2 L engine . Better service and resale too . Even on safety front old Vitara Brezza was 4 star rated although latest isn't crash tested it's only supposed to be better than previous . These things are more than enough to justify extra 50k u said . Talking on overpriced perspective which car isn't overpriced in 2022 after bs6 ?

Most of time tata cars stand in showroom sometime engine problem clutch problem. Gear problem ac problem. If u buy suzuki u can use 20 years without tension. Only small maintenance. But no any other company give such reliable

My drive is nearly 50 kms/day on weekdays and I'm tired of pressing clutch and hence I'm only looking for automatic transmission car. Get the Brezza - the Baleno bodyshell was not safe to begin with and i dont think they can make it a 4-5 star GNCAP car. The Brezza also has higher ground clearance.
Brezza is overpriced as hell....a 103hp naturally aspirated engine is useless and is weakest in the segment.....u can get bigger and more powerful cars for brezza money.
Go for test drive and do some research yourself. UA-cam comment section is the worst place to ask such questions. UA-cam comment section is full of auto mobile engineers and experts who will mess with your mind.

Hi Rachit, I'm trying to finalise between Brezza and XUV300. Usage is ~10k per year, 30% highway, but mostly cruising between 90-105. Is Brezza good enough for that with 5 gears?

You might consider the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Because it has way better milage and the build quality is better. I checked it. If your budget allows offcourse. It is also a hybrid. Real hybrid with an electric-gasoline powertrain not like suzuki's add an extra battery and call it a hybrid. (I am exaggerating but you get the point no offense) It is the same as brezza but higher build quality and better milage. But if you want suzuki's aftermarket service and low cost parts (cheaper to repair or replace), you can buy the brezza too :)

You can also mention whether there were any improvements compared to the previous version of the AT.
Its overpriced…price of zxi + automatic is around rs.16lacs, price of zxi automatic is around is 14.40lacs, price of vxi automatic is around rs.13.25lacs on road….price needs to be revised as i feel its higher for maruti…there is not much change in interior…
You know the biggest issue with motoroctane is they never criticize always support all manufacturers, now brezza is clearly overpriced for the automatic but Rachit plays diplomatic, motoroctane doesent have a stand they kiss up to the manufacturers alwsys
@motoroctane kya aap brezza me jo smart hybrid ke liye driver side seat ke niche lithium ion battery lagi hai, uska video bana sakte ho. Kya woh safe hai, kyunki seat ke niche battery rehne se kaafi logon ko unsafe feel ho sakta hai, aur kya battery kabhi overcharge ho gayi, toh usse koi accident hone chance toh nahi. Yeh Maruti waale mileage ke liye kuch ulte sidhe kaam bhi karte hai, battery hood ke under hi kar lete kahin sahi jagah, seat ke niche kis wajah se lagaya.

The price doesn't justify the vehicle in any aspect ! MS has messed up the pricing at a major level ! Customers were waiting and now they're heartbroken ! I'd choose Creta or Seltos over brezza anyday.

New Brezza indeed very well designed but not a value for money product. Otherwise, we could have seen it's initial bookings as well close to mahindra scorpio. I think maruti has done some mistakes in designing the variants. The new LXI Variant is worse than old Lxi variant. No rear head rest at all, seems as if maruti is making this variant for a car for year 2000. They could have given a small music system like older Lxi variant. The music system in Vxi and Zxi also looks like after market fit. Vxi doesn't even has a rear parcel tray. The overpriced Zxi plus doesn't has vantillated seats, leather upholstery, front sensors and rain sensing wipers I believe that fog lamps, TPMS, dashcam, front and rear parking sensors 360 degree camera are much more essential and utilty features than sunroof or ADAS or headsup display or connected car. Company needs to understand that for a car purchaser, driver and owner; more important are utility features than the fancy features. Maruti should have learned from variants of kia sonet, where every variant has been assembled beautifully. Eg htk plus variant of kia sonet. Even the variants of Nissan Magnite are better than brezza. No fog lamps or 360 camera in zxi but sunroof in zxi is beyond understandable. The music system in zxi also looks like after market... Maruti could also have introduced 1.2 ltr variant in brezza for urban consumer and take the taxation benefits. Overall i will say, a good product but maruti has missed on marketing part with assembly of variants. Hopefully the expected upcoming Lxi plus and Vxi plus variants may fix this.
Maruti is asking Rs. 3,88,000/- for Brezza's AT gear box replacement, after a rat bit a cheaply made oil pipe and the fluid got drained. Even there was no indication of the fluid leak and the service person drove the vehicle from my home to workshop. Just 1 year with 2000 km run and car under warranty.

This new Brezza looks more like sub-compact SUV rather than Nexon which looks like crossover/hatchback.
But is still provide less space than Nexon. Even the Boot space of Nexon is 350L while Brezza provides only 328L. That's a huge difference of 22L.

Unique features mein sunroof, HUD, paddle shifts in automatic; 360degree camera n a bigger size screen. Maruti's all cars r comfortable like dzire

Dude Tata's automatic is AMT while Brezza 's automatic is Torque Converter which is much superior . The latter is costly . Moreover Brezza engine is much more refined although on power it is lower than Nexon .And Brezza is a 1.5L engine so taxes are higher than Tata's or any 1.2 L engine . Better service and resale too . Even on safety front old Vitara Brezza was 4 star rated although latest isn't crash tested it's only supposed to be better than previous . These things are more than enough to justify extra 50k u said . Talking on overpriced perspective which car isn't overpriced in 2022 after bs6 ?

Most of time tata cars stand in showroom sometime engine problem clutch problem. Gear problem ac problem. If u buy suzuki u can use 20 years without tension. Only small maintenance. But no any other company give such reliable

Get the Brezza - the Baleno bodyshell was not safe to begin with and i dont think they can make it a 4-5 star GNCAP car. The Brezza also has higher ground clearance.
Brezza is overpriced as hell....a 103hp naturally aspirated engine is useless and is weakest in the segment.....u can get bigger and more powerful cars for brezza money.

Hi Rachit, I'm trying to finalise between Brezza and XUV300. Usage is ~10k per year, 30% highway, but mostly cruising between 90-105. Is Brezza good enough for that with 5 gears?
Why not buy a Diesel XUV300 if you're running that much a month? In 2-3 years you'll run 2 lakh kilometers

Thanks Rachit, as always, your videos are extremely informative. I was waiting for your Brezza 2022 drive review and now that I have watched it, I am in a better space to make my decision about Brezza 2022.
You might consider the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Because it has way better milage and the build quality is better. I checked it. If your budget allows offcourse.
It is also a hybrid. Real hybrid with an electric-gasoline powertrain not like suzuki's add an extra battery and call it a hybrid. (I am exaggerating but you get the point no offense)
It is the same as brezza but higher build quality and better milage.
But if you want suzuki's aftermarket service and low cost parts (cheaper to repair or replace), you can buy the brezza too :)

You can also mention whether there were any improvements compared to the previous version of the AT.
Its overpriced…price of zxi + automatic is around rs.16lacs, price of zxi automatic is around is 14.40lacs, price of vxi automatic is around rs.13.25lacs on road….price needs to be revised as i feel its higher for maruti…there is not much change in interior…

kya aap brezza me jo smart hybrid ke liye driver side seat ke niche lithium ion battery lagi hai, uska video bana sakte ho. Kya woh safe hai, kyunki seat ke niche battery rehne se kaafi logon ko unsafe feel ho sakta hai, aur kya battery kabhi overcharge ho gayi, toh usse koi accident hone chance toh nahi. Yeh Maruti waale mileage ke liye kuch ulte sidhe kaam bhi karte hai, battery hood ke under hi kar lete kahin sahi jagah, seat ke niche kis wajah se lagaya.

The price doesn't justify the vehicle in any aspect ! MS has messed up the pricing at a major level ! Customers were waiting and now they're heartbroken ! I'd choose Creta or Seltos over brezza anyday.

New Brezza indeed very well designed but not a value for money product. Otherwise, we could have seen it's initial bookings as well close to mahindra scorpio.
I think maruti has done some mistakes in designing the variants. The new LXI Variant is worse than old Lxi variant. No rear head rest at all, seems as if maruti is making this variant for a car for year 2000. They could have given a small music system like older Lxi variant.
The music system in Vxi and Zxi also looks like after market fit. Vxi doesn't even has a rear parcel tray. The overpriced Zxi plus doesn't has vantillated seats, leather upholstery, front sensors and rain sensing wipers
I believe that fog lamps, TPMS, dashcam, front and rear parking sensors 360 degree camera are much more essential and utilty features than sunroof or ADAS or headsup display or connected car. Company needs to understand that for a car purchaser, driver and owner; more important are utility features than the fancy features.
Maruti should have learned from variants of kia sonet, where every variant has been assembled beautifully. Eg htk plus variant of kia sonet. Even the variants of Nissan Magnite are better than brezza.
No fog lamps or 360 camera in zxi but sunroof in zxi is beyond understandable. The music system in zxi also looks like after market... Maruti could also have introduced 1.2 ltr variant in brezza for urban consumer and take the taxation benefits. Overall i will say, a good product but maruti has missed on marketing part with assembly of variants. Hopefully the expected upcoming Lxi plus and Vxi plus variants may fix this.

Maruti is asking Rs. 3,88,000/- for Brezza's AT gear box replacement, after a rat bit a cheaply made oil pipe and the fluid got drained. Even there was no indication of the fluid leak and the service person drove the vehicle from my home to workshop.
Just 1 year with 2000 km run and car under warranty.
why mild hybrid removed from brezza? Is this technology have an issue?
