Hi prof Lieu, I am a big fan of your work. I am surprised with the sheer number of topics you have covered, and you have inspired me to be proud of myself as an artist. I never thought that I would get back to art until your content has taught me to fall in love with art once again. I have recently been working on my portfolio, hoping that it will get critiqued by you sometime late next year. Keep up the good work.
Josie Lewis, acrylic antipasto painter, does work similar to Lauryn's artist, Larson. I naturally balance my pieces even though I'm a beginning art student because I was reared on high arts, Catholic cathedrals, Renaissance masters and da Vinci's drawings etc have rocked my eye 👁️ since childhood -- lucky for me because it's culture which gives context to history and architecture of civilization I 💕💕💕💕 !!!
For anyone interested in learning more about Anselm Kiefer I recommend an interview in the New York Times by the writer Karl Ove Knausgaard. www.nytimes.com/2020/02/12/magazine/anselm-kiefer-art.html

Argh, now I want a huge book of Eyvind's art.
Haha, me too! - Mia Rozear, Art Prof Staff
Thank you very much. I have been struggling with textures for months now and this gives me lot of clarity
We're so glad you liked it! Texture can be SO hard to grasp in artwork sometimes, I was afraid of it for years - Mia Rozear, Art Prof Staff

This was so interesting particularly understanding actual texture vs creating idea of texture.
I agree, texture is such a layered subject to learn about! - Mia Rozear, Art Prof Staff

Sadly I am not (closely) related to Caroline Larsen.
