Fun fact. There are actually #1 pencils as well as #2, #2.5, #3, and #4. They are rated based on the amount of graphite in the lead. #1 is the softest and therfore the darkest and #4 is the hardest and lightest. We use #2 because it's the perfect medium, both easy to erase and dark enough to easily read.

Laundry basket makes great storage containers and planters
Those metal tubs are great as planters . Just drill small drain holes in the bottom .
The number on the pencil is all about the lead. The higher the number, the harder the lead will be, and the lighter It will write on paper.

Today I participated in some we call Serve INC. where several Churches in our area get together and paint and do the landscaping for a school. Being Jesus in our community. It is a yearly volunteer project. It was fun and learn new skills.
