I had stage 3 breast cancer..triple negative....and estrogen positive...7 years out of treatment...doing fine...my doctor told me that I was in the wrong line😅

I'm confused first they are saying blueberries cause Cancer. And then they say they don't cause Cancer. I didn't have breast Cancer until 2021. My breasts both of them were dense for years. After my hysterectomy I didn't get put on ERT. I refused it because it caused weight gain. Since it raises my Cancer risk no ERT

Oh sweetheart, that's a lot to process! I'll bet your husband is stepping up even though he's scared out of his wits! I think it's much harder when you're young. I'm 67, got diagnosed on a routine mammogram, they all jumped on it and I just had my right breast removed. Next, I think is chemo, then radiation. I want them to wale on me hard, while I'm good and strong! When it's all done I'm going to give them my cancer survivor bikini pic. I may be minus one titty, but the rest of my body is killer!
And breast forms have come a long way!! I ordered up Amoena Adapt Air breast form! You insert it into your bra or bikini top, pump it up, it seats in your chest, and matches your other breast. And not as heavy either. And if you're like me, sweat is an issue, so I bought breathable swim breast forms. While not as expensive or high tech, I can see wearing them all summer long!

For all the things you need to make your recovery easier. Get a specialized bathrobe with pockets for the containers of fluid and blood you're going to leak out. It's necessary because as your body rushes all that fluid to rescue and injury, it needs to drain or you will swell very much, hurt and have complications. The shirt or bathrobe will enable you to move around the house with this contraption stored safe. I'm in hospital wearing this garment now. I'm so glad I have it in the hospital! I can walk around and be covered and decent.

I had an mammogram August 2023,which came back clear.I started HER in May of 2023.Now got grade 3 breast cancer which is negative of the hormone oestrogen but positive factor HER2.It's in my 3 lymph nodes.Had my first chemotherapy let week.PLESE CHECK your breast every month.I've never smoked,last drink I had was for my 50th am now 52 . Big hug xxxxxx

I wanted a mastectomy but my Dr. said the five percent chance of cancer coming back remains the same. I actually wanted them both gone but she said five percent chance remains the same but I have faith and will do whatever I can to help myself.

As a breast cancer survivor, I by no means was extremely overweight but my hormone level was by what my doctor said was pretty high . I was 42 at the time and switched to a female PCP. I previously had my uterus removed at age 27 ( due to pain and hemorrhage) had reoccurring ovarian cysts so was given birth control pills to stop it and didn’t work my obgyn he kept upping the dosage until I would get so sick and literally get nauseous and vomited on many occasions. When I told him of blood stains on my bra and on occasion seeped through to my clothes he replied it was just an infection and gave me antibiotics. This happened in the early 90’s.
That's seriously a bad doctor. So sorry for your bad experience.
That was why I got both of my breasts removed. Even though my left breast didn't have Cancer in it. I had a double mastectomy to lower my risk. I don't drink alcohal then I quit smoking cigarettes long ago. I am trying to lose weight & I use to be really skinny I am walking a lot more. If I don't go outside to walk. I am trying to exercise more because that will lower your Cancer risk. I am tired of being overweight.
I also have been trying to lose weight for long. It takes a lot of effort to lose weight
No amount of alcohol is safe
I went through the exact data here to show the risk per drink. There are various reasons why people drink and I don’t judge regardless of your choice

Take iodine, read the book iodine and breast cancer, can be reversed with taking iodine and vitamin D

I honestly think that if you have some genetic compromise you'll have increase risks but not absolute. Our lifestyle, mental health, FOODS we eat there's just too much toxic in our environment. Our body is constantly being beat up. nobody is really healthy even if people look fit. My grandpa had lung cancer at the age of 85. He was able to battle it for 3 years even though lung cancer is deadly quickly. He smoked all his life, he started going blind in his 60's so from that point on he smoked even more a crazy amount. But since my grandpa had 7 children and family was quiet poor there's no chance for him to binge on food and 50-60 years ago foods are not highly processed, full of chemicals , hormones and artificial stuff. They lack food but the foods they do get is very organic.
All my grandparents lived to 80+ My partners grandpa is now 90+. One of his grandpa died but still 85+. However my parents generation oh god. My mother's side uncle lung cancer, 2 of my aunty currently has cancer (breast to lung and other one ovarian). 1 more aunty has had cancer in the past but I don't know what something on her neck. They started having these issues 45-50yrs old. 2 of my uncles from my dad's side died of cancer, gallbladder and liver. All my grandparents and my great grandparents lived to old age and for the main part healthy never had any problem till 80+ . my great grandma lived to 105! Currently my cousins and I are around 20's-30's we all suffer from some sorts of chronic disease my cousin already had his gallbladder removed. 🙄 You are what you eat. Genetics may play a part but honestly not significant enough the major concerns is not there. I know my genetic is supposed to be strong LOL family tree all long living healthy people but one generation above me starts getting all sorts of sick around age 40+. Us oh man.... My younger cousin she is in psychiatric hospital getting treatment, older male cousin removed gallbladder, older female cousin obese fat and I have IBS 😵😵. If this diet, lifestyle and environment continues the gen after me which are now currently children is going to be soooooooooooo sick and die soo much more earlier from all sorts of pain. I have 6 niece and nephew. They were all born with some sort of illness big and small food allergy, physical mutations, ADHD, autism and speech impair. 6-7 years old can't form sentences. Guess what their parents eat? eating out almost everyday, bubble tea, ice-cream, cakes, chips, candies, coffee (multiple cups), The list go on and on and on. If my cousins are in their 20-30s their kids are 3-8 years old they didn't have them that old. However because they themselves grew up eating junk as kids/teenager I am sure all our body is so F up that all our kids are born ill. s

Then move on. As a bc survivor I love her info. Plus we all know blueberries are an antioxidant! They are great for cancer.
@@Ranchladytmd in fact they are not , not because they are not healthy as a fruit but they are as all other berries and strawberries covered with pesticides that can't go even if you wash them, some of wich proved to be carcinogenic, thats why I was expecting she will talk about it

It can also hapoen with young women, they don't usually have DNA damage. I had it at 58 and taking Arimidex now, not happy about this medicine reducing 70% of eostogen in my body. This is bad over 5 to 7 years.
My mother was not heavy but died of breast cancer.

My mother never smoked a cigarette in her life, she only drink alcohol on special occasions, she gave birth and breastfed under 30, she had healthy weight - and was killed by metastatic breast cancer at the age of 56. Vs. my father is a smoker for 50+ years and a heavy drinker, he beat lung cancer 30 years ago, also pulmonary embolism at the age of 70 and he is still living a good life (yes he still smokes...). So I think it's mostly in our genes (not just BRCA and other breast cancer risk genes but other genes that determine how our immune system works).

@@puma5471 Yes, it's possible. But 70-80% of breast cancers are estrogen receptor-positive so I'd rather blame it on other environmental factors (as nicotine reduces estrogen levels) besides genetic factors.
Yea they want to chop both your breast off and take your ovaries and uterus if you have the BRCA mutation. They tried that crap with me....hell to the no

I don't think a lot of those statements are true to the end. After listening to this all I can tell is, my mom past away in 2022. She was almost 89. She got cancer being 83 or 84. She never drink alcohol, or was overweight. I am confused a little with your statements. They are so general. We all know that alcohol is harmful and being overweight is not good for our health in many ways. We still don't know what is a reason for having cancer. And yet, they are many different reasons. Procesed food is one, big one.
Genetics also. And radiation. We all know we have a lot of radiation material. around us.
Shaving armpits with chlorinated water. Shaving causes microcuts allowing chlorine to enter body and get into lymph nodes.
Cancer has no answer....
