Concerning the pod, I totally agree with you. Our scientist did too. If you watch the conclusion, you will see what sets this investigation series apart from the others.
We created this show for the exact reason you stated. We don’t like the theatrics and paranormal activity shows.

Hi guys, Just a suggestion, you have too much equipment all together on the bed. You need to spread it out. If you watch Beardo gets scared or Mythos, they show how the equipment can interfere with each other and also outside things that can interfere with them. Beardo is a great channel because he tests equipment and apps so you know if they’re good or not. Well worth you guys having a watch. He debunks fakers which is so needed in this field, there are very large unscrupulous channels making money out of its subscribers/members etc. Sam and Colby, paranormal twins for instance are dreadful fakers.
A great way to do Evp sessions is to have one recorder reading questions, one recording answers in the same room, leave recorders in other rooms and place yourself outside recording too, so you can rule out noises from elsewhere that could be interference.

I agree that we need people that are willing to debunk. That’s why I brought in Steven, our scientist. Also, the investigation team we featured in this episode also will not declare a place haunted unless they have tons of evidence.

My friends flat is haunted (I live in Guernsey Channel Islands uk), the best evp evidence I got was set up as I suggested, that way there was absolutely no doubt whatsoever it was paranormal. Honestly, my blood literally felt like it ran cold when I heard the replies.
The 1st question was: ‘Where are you?’ (I’d set the recorder in the bedroom), he answered; ‘Here, bedroom’. The second evp was: ‘Do you need any help?’ He answered, ‘Help me, please help me.’ It was mind blowing. 🙌🏼
@@dreamcatcher3861 That is incredible! I can imagine the scare factor of hearing "help me" on an EVP. And were you in the bedroom, too?

No, my friend (who rents the flat) and I went outside while the questions played on a loop from my friends phone in the bedroom. I left my phone in there to record the answers on its voice recorder setting. We used a spare phone outside to record what noises were going on around us, so we could discount any outside interference or people on the clos.
We stayed outside for half an hour, then went back inside. I uploaded the recording to my laptop and played it on there. That’s where we heard the evp answers. I checked the time stamps against the other recording devices and there was no outside interference, so the voice definitely was in her bedroom. It was a man’s voice and the same in both evp’s caught.
She’s had several definite paranormal things happen in the 13 years she’s lived there. Most things are lights switching on by themselves (again, in her bedroom) also in her hall (landing). Toothpaste squeezed out into her sink, (she lives alone). She’d plugged her hairdryer next to her sofa in her lounge one morning, then went to get her cup of tea from the kitchen, when she went back into the lounge, the hairdryer was stretched out across the floor from the plug, she’d left it by her seat. Her keys swung around in circles on the inside keyhole of her front door, she went to see what the noise was and they were literally swinging around and around like a propeller. Her toilet door slammed twice at different times. Her neighbour below her hears what sounds like furniture moving around when Nicky isn’t home. The flat is basically a detached house split in 2. Nicky lives upstairs and downstairs is her neighbour. (I’ll add that her neighbour, Sue, was out when we did the evp recording, so the voice wasn’t from her flat.)
The most disturbing things that have happened are; someone blew on the back of Nicky’s neck when she was in bed. No drafts and she physically felt it and heard it, she’d only just gotten into bed when it happened. That’s happened twice now. Then finally, someone pulled her covers down from being tucked around her neck.
Both Nicky and I aren’t kids, I’m 51, she’s 60, I trust Nicky with my life and know she would never lie about something like this. She’s a quiet unassuming woman and has nothing to gain. I’m glad we did the evp recordings because it gave her something concrete because she honestly thought she was going crazy.
Nicky isn’t scared in her flat but the time it pulled her covers, she turned up at my house very upset. This was 4 years ago now.
What’s so good about her haunting is, the things I’ve written about all happened over 13 years, so it’s not relentless.
I think that’s why I don’t believe these huge channels that claim to have captured loads of evidence in a few hours. Real paranormal happenings are rare and thankfully, infrequent.
