Arumba, I think the views speak for themselves on these videos: we LOVE these vanilla EUIV playthroughs, especially for hard achievement like Basileus. I hope you make bank off of this series
These last 2 videos were like the reason I first loved your channel - good intelligent war and use of mechanics (re getting the minors out of the war via occ+bes provinces). Great work.
I know that this is going kind of slow, but I have to say that this is some of the most engaging content I've seen in a long time! I am enthralled by the fleet management and naval tactics that you employed during this war. Cheers!
"Can we get any more warscore?" I was literally munching a peanut butter sandwich while trying to scream PEST! 10 WARSCORE! ALMOST DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
why don't you rival serbia and immediately declare war to get some land or vassalize them but most important get power projection. You have enough manpower to sustain your army and bosnia is pretty weak so it shouldn't bother you
Hey Arumba, how about attacking Ottomans, taking one province that has bulgarian core, releasing Bulgaria and them using their reconquest CB in the futher wars?
rumba, you can wait out on the triumph decisions (there are a couple of them). This way you can get good generals when you need one by stacking army traditions
Why did you give nobility more land at the end? You have so much points in the dip and mil, you can just develope 1 province and it will back up where it's use to be.
I've always focused Constantinople as my primary trade node. Is focusing Venice a better idea,as in the past thatr's resulted in Austria demanding provinces from me?
Rest in peace Skanderbro. Anyway I think you should prepare for the incoming war with the Ottomans, hopefully with stronger allies than Hungary (which proved to be quite a derp).
Trust does not decay if you remain allied. Higher trust does however bring its own benefits. Allies will be more likely to honour alliances, both offensively and defensively. There are other benefits to high trust aswell, such as resistance to "break alliances" great power action :)
Kenneth Kristoffersen Im gonna share a slightly salty moment and say Ottomans don't care if you have 100 trust with then as Granada. They will desire Mexico city so much (even though they literally have no colonies in the new world). They will break alliance mid war in a very important war against France, and proceed to become hostile.
martin austin Mexico does that to some western powers for some wierd reason, Like, -10 or -20 would be fine, but I've seen France have -100 and more, with no colonies in the area :/ totally screwed my last sunset invasion attempt :p
Kenneth Kristoffersen Ottomans were at -200 for Mexico and the surrounding provinces. My last game I was Persia and I had Mewar over in India. The British and the French had at least -75 for that one and only province, despite not have any provinces anywhere close to that. They ended up rivaling me over that. Which was really annoying because i was looking for allies to fight the Ottomans and Spain. It seems to happen a lot more ever since craddel came out. It doesn't make sense AI desires an inland province so badly when they don't even have land on the same continent
Arumba should really consider truly driving the Turks out of Anatolia by that I mean culture convert them to the true culture of the Eastern Roman Empire
This seems like a perfect moment to snatch up the knights, and have a perfect secondary entry into Turk lands
Dear lord, bless your heart, this has become my most religiously watched series on yourube
Alexander Patterson Amen to that

I was screaming pest wait for pest for 5 min
Holy Jeebus! Arumba actually took care of his allies in a peace deal! Is Arumba turning over a new leaf?! No more AI abuse?!
You're spoiling us, Arumba!
I can't believe that after trying since the launch day, watching these videos is what finally made me succeed at basileus. Thanks Arumba, it felt good
Awesome series Arumba! I look forward to these every day!
Keep up the good work man. Really enjoying the series so far. I hope that one day I'll be able to play as good as you.
setting the bar low, huh
Benjamin Shultz Arumba is no DDRJake or Florryworry but he definitely is not a bad player.
Didn't say he was bad, but why aim to be mediocre one day is what I am wondering
Benjamin Shultz Probably because he doesn't know any of the extremely good players yet
I am infact new to the game. Still learning the basics. Arumba seemed like the best place to start

As a kingdom its not so much national debt as personal.
Considering the country go bankrupted if you don't it seems national.
I know that this is going kind of slow, but I have to say that this is some of the most engaging content I've seen in a long time! I am enthralled by the fleet management and naval tactics that you employed during this war. Cheers!
Loving the series! I hope you decide to do more fun EU4 achievement runs!
today we are blessed
You are pausing so much this campaign! It’s killer!
"We captured nun ships, that makes me sad" That's sexist, typical monks...
At least these nuns is not in turk's hands. Would've been addition to harem.
Oh man, this series can not get released fast enough. I am thoroughly addicted.
Pretty incredible victory, I had doubts the entire time, especially when Hungary let himself get wrecked. Glad I was wrong!
"Can we get any more warscore?"
I was literally munching a peanut butter sandwich while trying to scream PEST! 10 WARSCORE! ALMOST DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
isnt this the guy who had no idea who erwin rommel was? thats the only thing that i remember
Just finished last ep and this came out, my lucky day!
why don't you rival serbia and immediately declare war to get some land or vassalize them but most important get power projection.
You have enough manpower to sustain your army and bosnia is pretty weak so it shouldn't bother you
You will even get eclipsed serbia soon so there is even more projection
RIP Skenderbro
Dude, you are triggering my OCD anxiety and panic attacks not repairing those ships to 100% (I know a last few % doesn't make a massive difference).
Papa Arumba blessed us with his grace...
Anyone else notice the lyrics from "If It Makes You Happy" by Sheryl Crow @14:22 ?
imagine how many episodes there will be just to finish this campaign

Arumba can you make a in-dept trade guide for eu4 please... I've played 1800 hours in game and still don't really understand it
Reman Paradox has a pretty comprehensive guide on trade, though I admit a lot of the maths and stuff went a little over my head :)
Two countries, that’s a huge coalition
"Who ever heard of an embezzler gaining money and using it to pay off national debt."
J.M.Keynes spotted in the Dislikes.
*Intensity Intensifies*
Just Wow.
rather odd time for this upload!
22 minutes of gameplay, 9 months of in-game time. At this rate the series will last several hundred episodes.
it'll speed up. he's taking his time in the early game because that's where most of the challenge is and he wants to minimize mistakes
9:10 why isn't the AI attacking Arumba's 7k with his like 20k?
I always read Dulkader as Derk-uh-der!
Damn. What a great war!
but where is CK2 Arumba :(
You should do a Georgia campaign
why? that country is boring.
Boring? It got pretty interesting start now.
Why did you give nobility more land at the end? You have so much points in the dip and mil, you can just develope 1 province and it will back up where it's use to be.

2 videos today? Woo!!
Arumba why have u stopped killing the armies? U always used too do it before ?
Can we have more two videos a day? Thanks.
So this was the same war from episode 7? So like a 2 hour war?
He is the best 2 in one baby
why did you not take cash from mantua?
Good night sweet prince. :(
Nice series.Fyi Euboea sounds like Evia and Chios like Hei-os.You'll sound a lot better believe me.
I left a like to encourage 2 a day
Rest in peace Skanderbro.
Anyway I think you should prepare for the incoming war with the Ottomans, hopefully with stronger allies than Hungary (which proved to be quite a derp).
Nice borders see if you can make metropolitans
Can yu please try do diplo vasal georgia, trapezunt and theodoro? As like, the orthodox unite!!! but not muscovy, nobody needs a third rome
Third Rome is True Rome.
I've never seen Albania that big before lol.
Des trust decay downwards over time? I was suprised to see arumba buying it up, I always just leave the favors banked. Am I doing it wrong?
timmie timmins Trust doesn't naturally decay. He is trying to raise trust so Albania will be more willing to become a vassal

"Scanderbag nooo"
Its 1457. 1457. FOURTEEN FUCKING FIFTY SEVEN!! ITS 11 EPISODES IN ARUMBA!! THIS IS SLOW EVEN FOR YOU!!
Awesome as always, by the way, it's pronounced Bresha not Breskia ^^
Its a good day
In previous videos someone was defending EU4 ai by saying it's excellent and not shit. Well this whole war just proved them completely wrong.
It isn't bad luck if you're being greedy to the point of stupidity and mothball key forts in a war.
Ottomans After the war vs karaman will became more powerful
Yay 2 for one
Arumba should really consider truly driving the Turks out of Anatolia by that I mean culture convert them to the true culture of the Eastern Roman Empire
First
