Showtime is a Physical Almighty move, it doesn't get affected by stats except your level and it gets stronger with Charge. It also gets affected by Almighty Boost and Almighty Amp(and Tyrant's Mind too, I think), so you really should have used it the first time since you had Charge there.
oinka You want to fight Lavenza again?! You masochist :) I tried Showtime with both Charge and Concentrate, and Concentrate doesn’t get used up when I use Showtime. So yeah, it’s Physical in that regard, but it’s still Almighty so it can’t get reflected, absorbed or resisted. It still lands technicals on sleeping and dazed enemies though, like all Almighty moves do.

Persona 3 Elizabeth is a perfectionist in this reguard. an instant loss if any persona you have has null or repel for any element she currently decides to use. You have to be alone no teammates. After certain amount of turns, instant loss, she recovers herself at a certain Hp making the match last longer than the turn limit no matter what. You have to use Orpheus Telos A persona which resists everything, to get it you have to have all social links completed in one run and persona 3 is pretty unforgiving with time management. you must have the ability or item of high counter so when she physical attacks you reflect it forcing her hp below the threshold, but since she attacked her turn ends. Then you need Satan and Lucifer to use Armageddon to kill her, using this on anything but lethal is also an instant loss.

Even with the best personas and equipment , you need a strategy since you can't cheese Elizabeth. Here in P5R you have Yoshitsune with Hassou Tobi and Izanagi no Okami with myriad of truth. It's very easy to beat her. Yeah she "can" be anoyying but the challenge is a complete joke. Oh Lavenza will use megidolan? Hell no Futaba save ur ass "haha git gud kid".

I had Haru and Ann with attack up and concentrate, while Lavenza had defense down. I inflicted rage on Lavenza because with the new technical conditions from the book, both Haru and Ann could hit rage with technical. I hit Lavenza with Haru’s psiodyne, and it did around 4500 damage and knocked down Lavenza. I baton passed to Ann, she did blazing hell, and it did...a whopping 4 damage. 4! With technical! I’m so confused, how did this happen!
Same thing happened to me where Joker did same damage as Haru after a baton pass. Supposedly there is a damage cap for each phase. It's kind of a mystery, because Myriad Truths can even let you skip phase 3 if you do enough in phase 2.

It comes down to luck... only reason I was able to clear was Akechi's dodges at crucial moments. Also, the technicals that Lavenza landed on us didn't knock us down - it would had been real bad. It took me about 20 or bit more tries to finally clear.
In this fight you can appreciate how the Twins were Lavenza's personality split into two main traits. She may look sweet like Justine, but she also has a sadistic side like Caroline.
oinka it took me about 15 or so attempts most of which I got stuck on because of tetrakarn and praying Ann crits with her melee attack but I did end up beating her and it felt GOOD
I was ready to pull my hair out with this fight, especially when it hit phase 3! CRIT EVERY ROUND!!! ARE YOU SHITTING ME!!! On a side note, I like how she progressively uses higher level personas as the fight goes on
You should see some of the Demi Fiend secret boss fights from SMT. He is a fucking nightmare with actual INSTANT KILL ATTACKS. (Touch the Pixie you will suffer. Target anything but that one.)

The fact that the team mates are canonically fake replicas and you dying 5000 times over the course of a week actually didnt happen to the team and it happened in like a minute for them
