- The film shows the aid provided by the Portuguese Red Cross to refugees on their return to Portugal from Angola, Mozambique, and Timor. The Portuguese Red Cross was supported by the Swedish Red Cross and other national societies in response to an international appeal for assistance by the League of Red Cross Societies.
