After I finished this and uploaded it, I was too tired that I guess I didn't even realize that I made her left arm (Pearl's right) arm a little too short and it was really bothering me haha I ca't fix it in the video but I could on DA, and it's not big enough of a change to delete this video and go to the trouble of reuploading it. plus, even though I made her arm a little longer, I'm still unsure about it's proportion. but haha oh well.
Oh MAN!!!! I said I was going to make a mew painting but.... after watching this episode it was TOO BEAUTIFUL TO NOT DRAW!!!! It's SOOO good and so beautiful!!! from the song, to the vocals, and the whole scene and everything! GAH so good! I can't stop listening to it! haha it's probably why me and like a bajillion other artists have drawn fanart for this scene hahaha. I guess I had to jump on that band wagon because WOW it's so beautiful!!!
I actually don't have a whole lot to say about this piece other than how much I am glad steven universe is back haha I was really hoping I'd get some inspiration from it once it did and boom here it is!!! XD can't wait for the new episodes and see if it gives me any inspiration to do more Steven. XD I love it so much XD haha such a great show.

no no, you're all good, and thank you! but yeah I know you're totally right! XD I knew something was off about this painting, and I guess I needed to step away for a bit to finally see it. XD because I woke up this morning and I looked at it and I'm like " >.>.... hmm.... the left arm (her right) is too short...." and what's funny too is that the way it's cropped, makes her right arm (her left) look short to even though that one is actually proportionate lol the crop just makes it look that way, but because the other one is short is just makes the preportionate cropped arm look short and I'm like, hahah it was really bothering me. XD
so I actually edited the piece and updated the file on DA XD hahah too bad I can't do that youtube without having to delete and re upload, which is lame lol, not that big of a change to do that but hahah yeah I noticed it too and it was bothering me also. XD

XD So I made her arm a little longer on both upper and lower arm, but, idk, I'm still unsure about it's proportions. but lol oh well. thanks! and actually the problem is that youtube, isn't, picky about copywrite. that's why anyone can put a copywrite claim on music that hasn't been claimed by the rightful copywrited music. It's also why #WTFU is such an issue.
the weirder thing is that the music they apparently claimed was at 7.05 to 7.36 minutes into the video, and yet when I clicked the times that the music was claimed in, it was saying there was a match an hour or so into the video, not only 7 minutes in. which makes no sense at all.
What's even more strange is that that is only 21 seconds, SECONDS, of music. And even if it was copywrited, that is such a small segment of a copywrited song, that it would fall under the law of fair use, meaning I should have been able to use those 21 seconds without running into a claim even when using copywrited music. and a song is to be truly claimed, it needs to be AT LEAST half of the duration of whatever song has the claim over it, and unless the song is only 42 seconds, there's no way that that claim is valid.
so lol just the whole thing you can tell is illegal. Those people trying to claim music are pirates, plane and simple. The reason why I can use copywrited music without it being illegal is because the most the copywrite holder can do is put a claim on the music on my video, (not a strike on the video) What makes them different than me using copywrited music, is that they are CLAIMING to own the rights of Nintendo's music and making money off of the claim which is highly illegal.

Love it!!!!! It's over isn't it is my favorite song. This makes that scene look more emotional and more real and makes pearl look more attached to rose and shows how sad she truly was. I love this so much. When I first saw this, I just started getting into Steven Universe, and I was all like "What's wrong with Pearl??" Now I understand it more and this song turned out to be my favorite, it makes me happy how much pearl has changed over the series, and I can kinda imagine Pilot episode Pearl singing this, if Rebecca Sugar stuck with the Pilot versions of the show, this wouldn't be as beautiful as it is, ah, screw it!
