i had the same problem but i used a piece of course wire wool and some sand paper it worked great but the following week my eye turned a funny colour of green and then my eye fell out . funny thing is now i need to do it to the othere eye but this time i have thought it through . i am using an old razor blade and a rusty nail file so i think i will be ok .
We have the same color eyes, but what is it? Some say grey, some say a bit green or bluish, I just say grey. Also, I use this exact same method to get foreign objects out my eye. I find that the dryer the napkin the better the wet object sticks to it.

Ive had black specs in my eye for about 2 years. I went to an eye dr and he said im fine. Now its as if im looking through a magnifying glass at some kind of bug. Very tiny but right in the center of my vision. Eye dr still says its ok because the retina is still intact. Should i get a second opinion or what. Sometimes it interferes with my driving. It looks like something is laying in the road but its only that spec in my eye.

What you’re describing isn’t what I’m removing, which is simply residue from mascara and eye liner after I have washed it off. Is it constant? If it’s interfering with your driving please, please stop. Believe me I know how frustrating having to give up driving can be, I have had to recently for the next couple of months (6 months total!) following an accident I had in July so I do understand but until you know exactly what is going on with your vision please stop 😔 for your own safety aswell as others
