i’m so unbelievably lucky to have found your music, roe. i’ve pretty much been playing this song on repeat since it came out yesterday and i can’t get it out of my head. thank you for what you do.
Hands down favorite song so far
If I had ONE thought, it just feels like you're not finishing your thought. The structure, the feeling, the pure heartbreak, it's all there. But the ending feels like a pause, like there was more there, and then, done. I don't know, I'm not even brave enough to share any of my own recordings, but it just feels like the song slams shut. The Laladuh's work as an ending, but "that hate while you're like this", kind of sounds like another verse is coming, and the two seconds of lala, maybe drag it out a bit? Just a thought
Still an A+++++ of a song. The Talent is all there, can't wait to pay you to see you live. You're reaching stars I've only dreamt of!
P.S. I've never had a song hit me in the feels like this one; I've had it on repeat while doing paperwork after my shift just because it spoke to me like no other....

@@AliyB Thank you so much. 💙 It’s hard to take time for myself lately. I lost my aunt at 41 to covid and she was my rock. She was the only one who understood me, knew even more about me than my spouse does. She was also the only one who I trusted to watch my 1 year old and she would even come pick him up every Tuesday and Thursday just to give me time to be myself. I’ve had to cancel almost every doctors appointment (minus a major surgery I have coming up beginning of June) because I don’t have anyone to watch my son. I’ve been put back on the back burner mentally and physically. So to see a complete stranger send love and feel that love from something like a UA-cam comment means so much more than you could ever imagine. 💙💙
