The new video format works for me. I didn't have MotU figures as a kid because of Satanic Panic but I thought they looked cool and had some great (and some silly/funny) character designs. Now as an adult collector I'm just getting the Mega Construx versions because they are the same scale and articulation as other figures from a personal customization project I'm doing (not to mention usually much more affordable and space saving than other versions of MotU). Seeing these focused videos on characters from the original line is great for me to get more information about them without having to go through a bunch of wiki pages.
That massive storm of limbs, heads, and torsos is probably the true reason why the Evil Horde "has no friends."

MOTU is essentially a horror like toy range.
Pixel Dan: I found a further design that requires 16 Moduloks and 15 Multi Bots.
That scary voice in the commercial saying "Modulok" repeatedly seemed scary back then. Cool Mega builds!
Seeing Mega-Monster together is a childhood dream finally realized. Thank you. 😊

Multi bot appeared a couple of times in the She-Ra cartoon, including, and rather appropriately for this time of year, the He-Man, She-Ra Christmas special. During which he seemed to be in the employ of Skeletor

Very cool! Thank you! I never had any of those William George Posters, so the first real look at a "MegaBeast" build was in the MOTU Classics mini-comics. I ended up cobbling together something similar from one Modulok, one Multi-Bot, and a couple of spare pieces from another spare Modulok or Multi-Bot.
So great. And I love the videos going back to the vintage MotU. That’s my bread and butter for toy collecting.
During my childhood, Modulok was my MOTU figure of the century! It was such an awesome and unique figure and the packaging I recall was also amazing showing off the various creations! Good times! Until I saw human centipede lol
Cool video, now I know what to do with all my extra parts. Let the fun begin. I'll also be able to add two more characters to my collection now!!!

I referred to the MegaBeast I made from MOTU Classics parts as the "Inhuman Centipede".

Well hey, having 3 of each (4 of Modulok) means you can display each one individual PLUS a Megabeast, so that's cool! Can't imagine how much the aftermarket price is for all the components to mega-monster... yikes. Great vid man!

Hopefully since Mega Construx figures already have easy Pop N Swap action they will eventually do a Modulok and Multi-Bot for their version of the line.
I didn't know about Multi-bot until we stumbled across him at a significant discount in a department store. My brothers and I each got one and we could combine him to create crazy monstrosities!
Many years later I bought three Classics Multibots (also at a cheap price!) so I could relive my mad-scientist days.

In the MOTUC bios and mini-comics, he was referred to as Ultrabeast. There was a pic of Ultrabeast as well when he was part of the evil warriors led by Jitsu when Skeletor left for New Adventures, but I don't think "Ultrabeast" looked the same as "Megabeast".
It is because of the those two characters that I would have seen in the Classics line some kind of create your own figure or, for the lack of a better description, a bucket of parts. If they can make head packs then they can make new and reissue parts for those characters.

@@nicholasdickens2801 He means that he'd like to see the "Mega Monster" and "Megabeast" put together from the parts of Classics versions of Modulok and Multi-Bot figures, I think.
At least one of them appeared in a Classics minicomic. And I think Pixel Dan recreated something similar in his review of Classics Multi-Bot
He also appeared in the classics mini-comics, not sure if it was a third design used.

I never got multi bot because I had modulok and I never knew about mega beast but still a cool wacky robot , monster , alien warrior

I always thought the biggest issue with Modulok was that he only came with one torso.

Once I got my complete original Multibot and Modulok what I wondered was if it was possible to combine them into a MegaBeast using ALL the parts... after a few hours of playing, I found that it isn't.
Modulok has a pelvis piece that has only "male" connectors, so the ratio of connection points between the two figures is too far out of balance. You will wind up with too many "male" connectors and not enough "female" ones. If that pelvis had just one "female" connection point, it could be done.
No comparison time?
Can Origins figure torsos fit on the neck pegs?

Pixel Dan should be renamed to MOTU Dan. It reminds me of the Human Centipede movies. If you haven't seen it, don't. '...so dumb looking...' that just summarizes the figure for me, Dan. I still find enjoyment in your videos nevertheless, Dan.
