Loving your work! I removed the screws securing the wing under the headlight using some thin nose grips round the screws to loosen them. The black plastic finisher bit the fits between the wing and scuttle I replaced with some rubber cord, and the holes for the plastic mounts that secure the lower chrome finisher I drilled and made square with a needle file. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice.. I'll just reaffix thar front wing bit with nuts and bolts, much easier in future too! I actually sourced 2 strips of genuine seal for when I reach the point where the wings are ready to be installed permanently again.. hopefully it fits perfectly. And yes the drivers side hole is perfect.. passenger side is going to require a little work.. good shout regards a square file!

Now i start to understand why you are into a front end restoration… probably missed the part in a previous vid where you explained why your car needed one, but the bondo filler at the base of the windscreen explains the rest. Keep the good work up, Mike

Yes I have briefly mentioned it before but now you can all see the extent of the previous repairs! In fairness to me, it was the best I could do at the time, now I feel confident I can do a much better job, fingers crossed I'm right haha. Thanks for watching 😊
