Great video & information. I enjoyed the fact that it didn’t have all of the unnecessary fancy stuff seen in most UA-cam videos. It was full of basic, practical, and real world information. Please keep making more…
I got rid of my AVX kit, not because it didn't perform, but because I got fed up with the latency (19ms) which bugged me when I was editing. I went over to Sony UHF system, super low latency. A plus of the Sony system, is it came with a plug in TX so I get to use my expensive mics!
We appreciate your input! I have not noticed the latency to be that severe but we will have to keep an eye on that. I have hear good things about the Sony UHF System, we will have to test it out. Thanks! - Adam
This was so very informative. What do interviw videos of this standard cost per hour or how does it work. All that gear is worth a house. Great knowledge sharing. Thank you.
Thank you very much! We typically charge a day rate of $1,000 because it is difficult to work on an hourly basis given how much time is spent loading and all the gear and research we have done. If we were to charge hourly people may argue that we are only interviewing for 1-2 hours.
Really enjoyed this one, quick question how do you like the MKH 416 compared to some of the other Sennheiser models or even something like the Rode NTG line. I’m looking to upgrade a deity shotgun mic that I have.
Thanks for checking out our video! I do not have a ton of experience with the Deity mics, but I think the 416 is an amazing mic all around and is a noticeable upgrade for the Rode NTG line. I have used the NTG 3/4 for a while and the 416 always blows me away!
