We made a short film in 48 hours | Behind the scenes
Переглядів 2594 місяці тому
We made a short film! Nisi sent us two Cinema lenses to try out and we thought a short film would be a great test! The challenge was that we only had 1 week with the lenses on top of needing to still keep up with our client work. We all made pitches and Brian's pitch was picked for this episode! We had a lot of fun making this short film and think we should make all the other pitches! Whose pit...

Thanks for the review, very helpful!
You're welcome! Let us know if you get the bag!
Question are you wall free standing or are they. Attached to your original walls for support
They are ramset into the floor and we made additional braces that attach to the original wall,
Im going to sell my a7s3 and get a canon T3I
Thanks for sharing this review!! We appreciate you.
We're big fans! Thank you!
Of course, thanks again :)
Love the bright background
love the idea behind the video! usually everything is about consuming and its nice to have some contrast! keep it up! my worst purchase was actually buying the sony a7 iv as my first main camera. i shouldve saved some more money to get 4k 60 without crop. didnt think it would bug me as much as it does.
My RS3 mini can hold a lot of weight, i can put my GH5 with Speedbooster and 18-35mm f1,8 lens on it. Did you balance it properly? From the VIdeo i cant really tell
Haha yes, we did indeed balance the gimbal! Would love to hear any tips you have, I have been using gimbals for 10 years and have not had any problems balancing/getting good results. Thank you!
had 2 rs3 mini that both broke within a week of each other , one belongs to my friend , and the other to the production company he works for , its just no bueno especially with how cheap weebill s and rsc2 have become
if the gimbal were balanced, your camera would be horizontal before turning on. It's definitely not as sturdy as a larger gimbal, but it will hold what it claims. At least my copy.
@@nolepholife2843 Yes our horizon is level when powering the gimbal on, but as we pan and tilt (in PF / PTF) the gimbal becomes of axis and even the double click RTH does not fix it. We have tried rebalancing / calibrating / using lighter cameras. Nothing seems to work. What camera system are you using? Any tips for us? Thank you!
I just retired after 48 years in video production. But in my last job at a marketing/advertising agency, where I was the DP, I bought this cart. I did a UA-cam review on it about two years ago. I loved this cart for all the reasons you mentioned. In my earlier career we had a Magliner cart. It was amazing but it was crazy expensive. This Krane cart is the answer I think for most video production professionals. Nice job on the video...appreciated.
Congratulations on your retirement! Thank you for your comment, I will check out your review! Let me know if you'd be willing to chat sometime, I would love to hear about your career and how you were able to sustain working in the industry! - Adam
Very nice... Never enough BTS.
Thanks! We're always trying to get as much BTS as possible!
Daniel shifter aint got shift on this
We're Daniel Shiffer now 🥱
Love the cut to the retro camera. Did you guys use a filter or shoot on something like miniDV tape?
We shot on miniDV!
Happy to see the bs1h still in kit!
Yes! We still use it for some creative work like music videos, but most of our commercial work is FX9/A7S3 now. BS1H is an amazing camera!
What label maker do yall have??
We use the DYMO Express Punch label maker!
So cool thanks for sharing this journey
Thanks for watching!
This is such a blessing! I'm currently working on my first ever studio. Your episodes have been good guide 😊
Thank you so much! Good luck with your first studio!
Are you able to fit this into most elevators? I have a Rock N Roller R12, and it can be a very tight fit with some elevators.
It fits into most elevators but it's definitely a tight fit!
Let us know by now if the ever so mentioned overheating became a problem for you guys :) Great informative vid.
Thank you for your comment! I have had some experience with it overheating. Recently I was shooting 4k 60fps for 40min and I saw the symbol pop up, so I swapped batteries and switched to 24p and it continued to record for another 20min until I no longer needed to record/ It is not 100% reliable as the A7S3, but for the size and price it is very solid. Thank you! Adam
Nice setup tour video. Good job
Thank you!
What drone r u using, also very cool shots
Thanks for this video, the bag looks great!
Thank you for watching!
Just picked up one of these used for $100. Great cart.
Nice! Our cart has been our best investment yet!
This is so cool in concept
Thanks! We love making brand stories, it's an effective way to share what a brand is about!
@@hllvlly I’m actually talking about you two having a meeting about the client and the B Roll being you executing, and teaching.. it’s all good!
Thanks! We really appreciate your support.
Great info! Also, I finally made a Hill Valley video 🎉🥂
light mounted on the leg of the c stand. I like it hehe
Couldn't find our floor stand 😳
Looks like a solid bag to have 👌🏼
It is a very solid bag to have! Thanks for watching!
Dope to see others using this bag. I'm using this bag as a full lighting kit bag (3 stands, 3 lights, rags, grip heads and clamps, etc.) For you, does the benefits of this bag outweigh how heavy it gets when fully packed?
Depends on how many people you have with you! With two people the bag can help without having to overpack, but if you're by yourself you might have to pack only the essentials if the weight is an issue.
Love these year end reviews! Keep up the good work guys.
Thank you for watching!
Hello, morning at France, I want to know what is the model of the trolley tools thanks ..
Thanks for watching! Our slider is the SliderPlus from Edelkrone!
Great video guys!
Thanks for watching!
Sick video.
Thank you!!!
Very cool to see the whole process behind it's creation. Looking forward to seeing more!
I think this vid is gonna cook

love seeing the BTS process!!
So do we! Thanks for watching :)
They’re my stuffies lmao, great plot twists in only 3 minutes👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

You'll find us on A24 in no time😉
Iconic 😂 great work team!
Thank you! We had a blast making this
Love it
Thanks Evan! Brian did great on his directorial debut
"You know STUFF right?" 😂
That's our favorite improvised line from the film 😆 Thanks for watching!
Great work on the editing Brian!
Thanks!
Love the white on black labels. What label maker did you use for these?
Thank you! We use the DYMO Express Punch label maker!

I use S1H and its a beast
Such an amazing camera!
This is the one I've been waiting for! Would like to hear more about sound design.
Thank you for watching! We'll definitely put sound design for a future episode!
Perfect video sooo good! I’m going to buy one for my studio that timber top would be great for a flat lay shoot as well. Great work
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it. It has served us well and is still a go-to storage solution for our gear.
Great conversation gentlemen. I just recently bought Final Cut Pro but I'm yet to use it for editing. I've been contemplating on buying Davinci Resolve. Between the 2 programs which do you guys prefer and why? Maybe that's a conversation for another episode but I thought I would throw it out there. Thanks!
One of the best parts about Resolve is that the free version contains most of what you will need to create high quality videos! We'd fully reccomend trying out the free version of Resolve before buying the full studio version!
Great interview setup walkthrough! MORE PLEASE :-)
Thank you! We have more videos coming your way soon.
Great idea for an event. Is the idea to expose more local creatives to your studio where they can ultimately rent it out?
Thank you! Cameras and Coffee is not only to show local creatives the studio but to also create a larger network of creatives from the area! We love the idea of people connecting and networking through this event or even just meeting some new creatives to talk about their projects or camera stuff in general!
Some great tips in here!
Thank you! I am glad you found this helpful!
