Everyone coming to Thailand should see this, send it to your love one.
*coming with friends and family buy the same operator so you can make local call as much as you want*
*giving away free SIM card might not worth it*

Where to buy SIM card Thailand
SIM card thailand airport
We visited Thailand 5 weeks ago and bought the 15 Days AIS unlimited package in the arrival hall. It worked perfect in Bangkok and Koh Samui. We always had 5G.
Thanks for the feedback, I will pin this comment for others
Great, could you please let me know how much did cost?
@@halfmind2886 didn't you watch the video? 599 Baht per Person as mentioned by Chon
@@twentyseveneleven Thanks. I questioned even before completing the video. Sorry about that.
But 599 Plan doesn't have unlimited but 30G data right? I want unlimited data and hence feels more inclined towards True Move 699 plan but then it won't have as smooth coverage as AIS
Best is not to buy a tourist Sim. Buy a regular Sim at 7/11 from true. It's 150 to 350 Baht. With 350 the data was so fast that I could run a smart tv with it.
exactly !!
Looking to do this, I think its a 5 minute process in 7/11 faster than waiting line at airport.
In 4 former Thailand trips I have used True and purchased at arrival, my last visit 3 weeks ago due to plane being late and car waiting, I went to Big C the next day to get my sim. I went with AIS and the package I got was 299 Baht - 45 days 50GB. I thought there must have been a mistake but when I went back into AIS store while in Kanchanaburi (Robinson) they checked and it was correct, I still had 48 GB.
Oh wow, i just looked it up on the AIS site and it says it costs 899 Baht for that package which is triple the price you paid.
I used to always use DTAC (which was good), but I started getting the AIS sim about 4/5 years ago and have found them to be the best without any dropouts throughout Thailand.
You got my points 👍🏻🇹🇭
We will visit Krabi 4 days june 2023. Which promoter the cheap sim card that good? Thanks.
Good recommendations. Do u hv email or hp to contact u. Am coming in December
So are you saying I dont need to call AT&T to get their package. Just get this instead?
Yes 🙌
@FriendsfromThailandtravelguide
which one u recomend
for 10 days trip (bangkok pattaya phuket)
At beginning of September when I arrived with ThaiAirways in Bkk they give on the airplane for free a 8 days tourist sim card from dtec.
But I don't know they give on every Thaiairways fly.
I’m not sure about that
Hi, can anyone please confirm if browsing youtube will be free or it will be charged separately.
I'm coming to Thailand next month.
Love and i'm not sure the best way to get to my destination I've scheduled a taxi to pick me up from the airport. Where would I meet them at
ua-cam.com/video/zaS4WXW6TEg/v-deo.htmlsi=wJLo0PMIkd5-MZ5X
Thank you. Very good information.
Thank you for your explanation, for over than 10 years I'm always use dtac whenever I'm in Thai without doubts. I think I will reconsider about AIS for my trip end of this week.
Thanks Chon....What about e-sim? are these companies offers e-sim at airport BKK?
Hi Charlie n

I don’t think you can do that at the airport
Hello! I already have tourist sim cards. Where can i load them/add credit in the airport? Or is it better to visit 7-eleven or network shops in the city?

Hi, what about 4G packages? You only showed 5G packages, what about people who dont have 5G phones? Please update your video.
Good Days Chon, need your advice, how go to hotel ABSOLUTE TWIN SANDS RESORT & SPA from phuket airport without get scam taxi..? thanks
This video has forgotten to mention ESIMs which allow you go the the sim before you get to destination electronically. Among the best operators: maya mobile, airalo and montyesim.
Agreed 👍🏻
Thank you Chon for this video. Yes, I truly trust your recommendation. I have used Dtac last December and sorry to say its not the best. I must stick to AIS or TrueMove from now on. By the way, I can see that you and your team are working really hard to promote your country and hope to see you being rewarded by the authority/ ministry . Keep up the fantastic videos . !! God Bless You and the entire team.
Hey friend,
Can I prefer AIS e-sim instead of physical e-sim for phuket, krabi and thailand?
Are sims expensive at airports than the city I am
Talking about Bangkok
so true 5g gives unlimited calls and unlimited Internet.. 8 day pack.. how is their network coverage in bangkok.. ? ie. speed of Internet drops ?
I am coming for 1 week
2 days in Krabi
2 days in Phuket
2 days in Bangkok
Sir advice which sim is the best
great. I am going to Phuket for 16 days in November. Trying to figure which is best sim card.
Any information regarding pocket wifi 🙏🙏🙏
Wtf, why go for a tourist sim.. you can get 150-200 baht for 30 days unlimited from 7/11. Avoid tourist sims. In Thailand, understand it's farang vs tourism.
Thank you Chon for your info. We have a big family of 11 going to visit Thailand soon. Do you have any suggestion for a 14 passenger van rental in bangkok?
I'm coming to Thailand next week for 2 weeks, I will visit to bkk Phuket krabi phi phi Island and pattyya, I need all the time internet for my work, which SIM card have better internet service in phi phi Island krabi Phuket pattyya?
Can you suggest which sim and package to buy visiting phuket for 9days... data and high 4g speed is important... 5g not issue
Simple explanation and much useful. Can a foreigner buy an eSIM either from AIS or True ? What is the process ?
you ignore all to these advices said into the video and buy a NON tourist card from 7-11 for 200 baht. you're welcome, 30 days unlimited internet.
Hello! 😍 What is the fastest pocket wifi to use for live streaming in bangkok. We’re from Philippines 🇵🇭
Thank you so much! I’m on my way back to Thailand for the 4th time in 7 days. Can’t wait
I have 4G phone. Will 5G sim work on 4G phone?? Please reply.
Transition sounds and clicks really annoying.
Noted, sorry 🙏
Thank you for your very informative and helpful video. Do you know if tourist can buy eSim for e.g. iPhone and do the three major telco sell these as prepaid sim to tourist? We are visiting in Dec and staying in the Bang Rak area (there are telcos at same mall as Robinson Bang Rak). Thanks again!
with AIS it is not a problem. You can buy your sim put in your iPhone and then go to the options, set convert to eSIM and take of the normal sim. Your IPhone will work with eSIM.
I bought my eSim directly in a AIS shop, they installed it for me. My personal SIM stayed in my iPhone. 300THB for 30 days unlimited data. You can keep your number and top up again 300 THB on your next visit to Thailand.
Are the unlimited 5g package only for 5 g or will it also be unlimited for 4g
If I buy 15 days unlimited, can I top up after 15 days to continue using?
Hello loves this video. Maybe you can help me I’m going to Thailand Hau hin For two months don’t plan on travelling around very much. I have free Wi-Fi in the condo and public areas. What do you suggest I should buy for a Sim card would really appreciate some help and I’m quite confused.

What is the fastest pocket wifi for live streaming i. Bangkok?
Hello Shawn. I am aware that this is an older video however I hope that you will still answer my questions.
I am moving to Pattaya this time next year.I understand that I will need a sim card for Thailand (AIS) but I am somewhat confused about the charges for calls and texts.
I was under the impression that when you install the Sim card, your phone uses the Mobile Data to make and recieve calls and texts for free. But it appears that you are charged extra for every call and text you make and send. Is there a way around this? If not, how are these extra charges paid?
Thank you.
If you buy package with internet, then how/why are we paying extra 2baht/mb for internet,i don't understand this? and how do they bill you this charge on a prepaid plan?
Hi Chon. What do you recommend to rent a pocket wifi or buy unlimited data sim? We will be staying in Thailand for 1 week.
Hi Thank you so much! I wanted you to know do they offer there eSIM? I have the iPhone 14 Pro and it doesn’t have the slot for SIM card. Thx in advance
30 day are str8 up more expensive than 2*15 days or even 4*8 days. Are they ok??
Can we buy AIS / Trumove esim in airport ?
The best video about thailand sim card. Thank you so much, very helpful!
Dose your fone have to be unlocked to take AIS SIM card
First i will go to phuket and then move back to Bangkok so can i purchase a sim card from phuket should it will work
What about eSIM, can I buy it remotely? I found a lot of services that provide it, but most of all use dtac, and according to your video it has less mobile coverage.
Great video thanks. Do I understand correctly that with true move and dtac you get charged an extra 1,5-2 baht per mb of data? How will they charge you this since you prepay the SIM card?
How to top up for 1 day after 8days pack is over? I will be travelling for 9 days
buy in the seven eleven way more cheap , only 50 baht for 1month 50gb data , why dont u recommend that ?
If I need to make a lot of phone calls, is True Move the best provider because I saw in your video that it offers unlimited local calls to all networks in Thailand?
if i am going over there to work and will be frequently flying over, which should i get? getting the tourist card is quite expensive, as i would be frequently flying over
On klook app i am seeing the option to get dtac card at DMK airport for around 250 THB . 10 days 50 gb . Should i buy those ? Can i activate from india ? Also i have a flight after resching the DMT for HKT . Do i need to do the immigration at dmt or i can directly do it at HKT ?
Go for AIS and never complain again. You even get the data while you are Kilometers away on boat trip to maya island and all.
Hi, just wanted to know which is the phone number on the sim card & the plastic leaflet that come with it?? Thanks.
how about e-sim? new phones comes only with e-sims...pls help!
Hi Chon!
Do you get a new phone number or can you use the existing number?
How about eSIM number in thailand ?
