  • The New Mevo Core from Logitech has been released, it is a MFT lens mount camera with a MFT sensor and it is priced at $999, some people have been saying that the camera was overpriced. In this video I will give you my thoughts on this, why some people say its expensive and reasons why actually this camera may not be expensive for some people because of its value.

Excellent Point. This is why I decided not to get the Panasonic LUMIX S5 IIx
$1,997.99 with features that I will not use. This price for the Panasonic is without a lens. So when they say too expense in my opinion I don't think so. Full disclosure I already had the Mevo Start Ecosystem so the Mevo Core made since. Great Video.

Exactly sometimes we pay for features we will never use that were made for other people. The S5 IIx has a lot of cinematic features for filmmaking that if you buy it just for Live Streaming there is a big chunk of money that went towards features you will never use. That’s when it feels too expensive

This camera is perfect for live streaming setups. "Professional" video guys are always a decade behind in tech

If they send me one I will also make a video telling everyone how cheap it is. 😇

Don’t worry I was expecting this comment but I would appreciate if you shared some other points apart from the fact that I might be biased. Respectfully

      1. You can consider purchasing a Sony camera such as the a6000, a6300, a6100 or gh4 with kit lenses, as they will provide a similar setup to what you currently have.
      2. It is not recommended to use WiFi for streaming from a church's perspective, as there may be lag. If you plan to stream from multiple camera angles, it is advisable to invest in an ATEM Mini or a YoloBox. This will prove beneficial in the future, especially when adding more cameras. Additionally, having a screen for monitoring is helpful for someone standing behind the camera. Alternatively, you may want to consider a PTZ camera.
Although the camera is a good option, there are better alternatives available.

I totally agree with you about better alternatives. All the Sony Cameras and Lumix cameras you mentioned I totally agree with you on that.
For church I mentioned that if you want to add a Lobby camera for interviewing people I think you can use NDI on this camera to send the feed back in your main production software. For streaming over wifi it’s also not advisable but when dealing with mobile live streaming sometimes we don’t have a choice. Also all the alternatives you mentioned are great only in a wired controlled environment but if you are dealing with a mobile setup they may suck
Thanks for sharing your thoughts 💪
