  • Cebu Pacific is nearing a major order with Airbus that would include up to 150 A320neo family aircraft to more than double its fleet. Meanwhile, Boeing's orders and deliveries dropped again in May as the manufacturer battled pressure from all angles. Lastly, Gulf Air is reportedly eyeing a new Boeing 787 order, consisting of the 787-8 or 787-10, to boost its widebody fleet and capacity.

I hear that some purchaser has ordered 20, or so A330Neo 900s, but the purchaser's name was not known, only that Airbus has release this bit of news. Great news the A330Neo is in my opinion better than the Boeing 787, anyway it's more comfortable, a quieter ride, from inside the jet outside, well, I don't really know but it's certainly is more a pleasanter ride !

If a Plane makes only Money when in the Air, that would suggest at least 8+, but what is the real average?
If Cebu wants that many Planes (and assuming growth and not retirement of current Planes), than the Industry is heading towards a Pilot shortage as Cebu isn't the only Kid on the Block.
