i love voltron. best ride ever. but behold of wodan. totally underestimated. best gci wooden coaster imo. europa park is hands down the best park in the world
6:55 I think PowerPark is actually quite easy to reach by train in summertime with straight connections from Helsinki and a free bus service from the train station to the park.
@@coasters4life388 cool! I just think Voltron is more my style, but that’s your opinion and I won’t fight you on it, plus I haven’t even been on them, I am just saying what looks better.
Voltron’s way longer of a ride, whilst Hyperia is more compact and has more sustained forces, so I could see where both sides are coming from when they say they like one more than the other
You may dial down your expectation regarding Voltron a bit. I was on it last Friday and was actually disappointed by my first rides on it. Bottom-line is the coaster is very temperamental and seems to feel very different from one seat / train to another. Unfortunately, you cannot pick a seat. So you might have to have a bunch of bad rides before getting a good one. Overall it's pretty rough for a new roller coaster. This is particularly surprising as you'd think Mack would do anything to make it as smooth as possible but it's still not running well. It's not SLC-level rough as some people make it up to be (or maybe it actually was in the very first days and they managed to improve it?) but still a pity it doesn't track better. If it was smooth and I'm in the right row would easily be Germany's best coaster but as it stands I'm actually not so sure I can say that.
I had two rides on it about a week after opening, and both were shaky as hell. Should have been the most amazing experience, but can't really say I enjoyed it at all
I'll be very excited to see what you think of the UK's coasters! What I will say is that I think you'll enjoy them even more if you keep your expectations kind-of measured. Our coaster line-up isn't up there with the American rides you're used to, put it that way! I'd say we've got loads of really good coasters, but I wouldn't say anything is elite and world-beating aside from Nemesis and Hyperia.
Mack Rides should build a Mack XTREME spinner in America with insane elements like Hyperia has but with a long layout and additional elements that would just make for potentially the worlds best rollercoaster.
Really hope you get a good train on Voltron :3 from what I have experienced train 3 and 4 were pretty rough on the winged seats, which was not that comfortable so I hope that doesn’t happen on your first ride. Train 1 was also a bit rattling but not nearly as bad, to me it was still fine. Train 2, 5 and especially 6 were pretty smooth for most of the layout so I hope you get one of those. Haven’t been on Train 7 tho. I love it so much.
I got a ride on Hyperia the other day. Absolutely fantastic ride but unfortunately way way to short for my liking and that trim prior to the final bend killed it. Interesting to see what you think about it.
I rode a couple of times Mahuka and what a surprise! I didn't expect that, I thought it would be more directed towards family but not at all, it's super powerful with a lot of airtimes and what a view with the beauty of Walibi Rhône Alpes especially at night! A banger not to be missed
Super excited your coming to the UK. If you get the chance with your schedule you should swing by Edinburgh for an overnight to see the castle 🏴 it’s not very park focused up here, but certainly is beautiful - we’d love to have you visit 💙🤍💙🤍 Can’t wait for this trips vlogs!
@@CoasterDash Oh! I should watch more vlogs, just got into the channel because I did research on Energylandia. I went this weekend for a two day solo trip. Amazing park, queues were a bit long for Zadra and Hyperion at times, but Saturday was a special event day. Got 7 rides on Zadra Saturday, and 13 rides on Sunday for a sweet total of 20 rides on my first RMC. Incredible machine. Hyperion was fun too but my God Zadra is something else. Now looking into going to Sweden to try out Wildfire! Thanks for great content!
This might sound weird from me to you but, i like to imagine banshee at Kings island, Fenix at Toverland, taiga at linnanmaki, Shambhala at port avontura, hyperia at Thorpe park, ride to happiness at Plopsaland de Panne, kondaa at Walibi Belgium and Fury 325 at carowinds to be female rollercoasters. What rollercoasters around the world would you like to consider to be female rollercoasters?(Just asking and just curious cause i'm gonna meet kondaa at Walibi Belgium this summer for the first time.😍)
I've never been to Europe, but rumor has it that I'm going there for the first time at the end of the year. Some of my highest bucket list roller coasters include Red Force at Ferrari Land, Expedition GeForce at Holiday Park, Zadra at Energylandia, The Ride to Happiness at Plopsaland de Panne, and a whole lot more.
Excellent video, and it’s pretty good advertising for all these parks. I always thought of theme parks and rollercoasters as more of an American thing. But you’ve shown me that there are some awesome parks and some very unique coasters out there.
There are so many coasters in America that i would love to have here in Europe. We have like 5 hypercoasters and no Giga coaster here, and wooden coasters are rare too
Western europe has its worst rainy summer in years🥲 please be prepared with waterproof gear. You can also get some “rain gear” here (lightweight rain pants, rain coats). Completely disappointed to be living in the Netherlands now and waiting for a good weather day to go to the Walibi🫠
If this is in reference to Voltron, to be fair many many people have said that on some trains the rattle is so bad that it's painful and they have to stop riding coasters for the day afterwards, but weirdly it's only one or two trains that have the issue.
@@shroomyescsorry what? I've seen and read countless reviews of voltron and while a lot of people said it has a rattle (a lot of people said it's super smooth too btw), I've heard no one say they had to stop riding the whole day, let alone the day after.. That's a load of 🐂💩
