Thanks Emily for capturing the mood and imagery I wanted for Haus of Estrada and using my signature musik! All three of our videos are the BOMB! Love it!!! - Dagmar
Your stuff is great! I've been watching all of your videos all week. I mainly do small concerts and nightlife but am trying to get more into this type of photography. Picking up some B800's at the end of this month. Keep those videos coming!
Hello Emily, I am a young starving artist who attends The Art Institute, majoring photography. I love the way you think as a photographer, your imagery is so beautiful. This definitely inspires to me, thanks for sharing.
Emily, I feel enchanted by your whole work, thank you very very much for all this this images full of beauty and magic. I would be very pleased if you could write what music do you used in every video. Thank you!
@NotTheMusicMan yeah i know this song.... can't recall the title.. it's buggin me... LOVE the photos... the processing is awesome... and i'm 100% sure she used an ND filter.
Emily Emily Emily :) why you are so talented :) thanks for inspiring me :) may i ask if you don't mind, what lens you used? i'm just a beginner :) regards, duke
@djglobol I am sorry I don't understand the question, I use the mola setti beauty dish with Alien Bees for lighting if that helps. Thanks for watching!
So the million dollar question - what ND filter was used? LOL... im pulling my hair out. I mean one can stop down and fill with strobe or flash. Notice her DOF isnt very shallow so she couldve shot at F22 and just used fill. I love your use of light and props Emiy. You are the top of my favorite and most inspiring photographers. The music you play on these videos is amazing too and i did purchase one of your PS actions when i first bumped onto your channel. Please keep more videos coming and if you are ever holding a workshop in New Orleans or south MS please i want to know. Ill be first one there... V/R Frank
its clear Emily does not like to share her shoot info, which is not nice, no really, if you are going to post videos showing your work then you should take responsibility to answer questions from your fans, even if you do not want to share your technique. people admire your work ~ so work with your fan base.
The lighting is pretty harsh on all the photos. Noticed this on the last few Soto vids with the Setti dish. Not very fond of the look, exposure wise. Pix would def look a lot better with lower power/closer distance and a secondary fill source.
@nikonuser2u you can check out my info on my blog- I try my best to keep up with all of my networks but unfortunately get behind at times. I appreciate you watching, happy new year!
