    I've just purchased the Whitby Kent folder a similar Edc non locking pocket knife etc. Nice bit of kit

    I think they should've used a carbon steel for the blade so it tarnish with the copper handle.

      Hmmm... I hadn't really thought about that, however, I think you're on to something there. I think that wold look awesome. Hopefully Boker reads this and sorts one out 🖖 Thanks for commenting PvR333

    I've had one with the black handle for a month or so now, along with a tech tool 1 (after losing my Boker plus Howser). Lovely little knife, good design and great value for money.
    Hollow ground rather than full flat though I think.

      Which one would You recommend for an urban edc? I'm torn between Atlas and Tech tool...

    • @JvS1711
      @JvS1711 10 місяців тому +1

      @SahibJura Assuming you're in the UK? The tech tool 1 and atlas edc have exactly the same blade and steel (at least mine do). The spring on the atlas feels a lot stronger than on the tech tool. Atlas handle has slightly sharper edges so will wear through a trouser pocket sooner (although the little glass breaker of the tech tool may do the same). The atlas is wonderfully slimline and it's my EDC.

      @@JvS1711 I'm not in UK and got no restrictions but I like my edc knives to be slipjoints and rather victorinox-size. Thank You very much for Your opinion :)

      @@MoorlanderEDC I always try to make shorter videos.. but I always do them of 30 minutes or more.
      Still I'd change.
      What concerns me is if doing a 4 minutes video it will affect the monetization..
      I do not have a big view count so I am really curious to know if it will affect my poor monetization.
      This said.. your channel is awesome. It relaxes me a lot🙏🙏

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  2 роки тому +1

      I think as far monitisation goes they prefer people watching longer or as a higher percentage of your content. Someone watching 8 minutes of a 10 minute piece of content is better than 20 minutes of a 30 min piece. So UA-cam recommends you content more. It will affect the funds per minute as the time is less however there's other benefits from recommendations and interactions. The algorithm is very strange but it can't help to try. I'll check out your channel in the morning 👍

    Hi thanks for the review, there aren't much reviews available on this knife. I ordered one with copper handle from Heinne Haynes, its good knife but I have slight disappointment with this knife, that is when i got this knife the blade was perfectly centered, however after 2-3 weeks the blade got off centered a bit, even though the screw is not loose or anything. Not sure if I need to tighen the screw and that is another concern as I dont know where to find pivot driver to tighten the screw. Let me know if you have experienced the same with your knife. Can anyone comment if you have similar experience with Boker Atlas.

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  2 роки тому

      Hey Noah. Sorry to hear it's not sitting right close. It may be the pivot pin. Sounds daft but when you heat one side, does it go off centre to the other side. Copper can grown and shrink more with heat. It's just a thought... Otherwise, try contacting Boker on Facebook or Instagram. I find the team there are really good

    Victorinox Pioneer or the boker atlas with scissors. Which one would you recommend for edc?

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  Місяць тому +1

      It would have to be the Pioneer X. Victorinox's scissors are amazing. There's very little they won't cut (within reason that is). Hope that helps Connor

    How does it feel when your government tells you how long of a knife you can carry? Are you comfortable being a slave? Does it feel good to you? I'm not trying to be ugly, just curious.

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  2 роки тому +2

      Not trying to be ugly however still using slave analogies? Britain is an collection of islands steeped in history. We've been enslaves by countless invading nations from the Romans to the Vikings. We're still a very free nation, however unfortunately we've been troubled by a lot of knife crime as well as regular terror attacks, even a horrible public beheading of one of our military in the centre of London. This is the typical day to day thing and the laws that have been applied here are designed to keep people safe. I hope that helps your curiosity

    • @tomd5357
      @tomd5357 2 роки тому +1

      Ah, you missed an important point from your curiosity. 'Without good reason' I.e you can carry any knife if you have good reason e.g work, hobby (camping, fishing etc) the only knife explicitly banned here is the zombie knife as far as I know.

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  2 роки тому

      @@tomd5357 hey Tom hope you're well buddy. You're pretty spot in. If you're a bushcraft instructor and you have a fixed bushcraft knife. Or may be you're a chef and you're carrying a roll of knifes in your hand. Or maybe you're a martial arts instructor and have a katana sword. Pretty much it's common sense. If you have a 11" chopping knife wrapped in newspaper tucked into the inside of your pants and maybe caught with illegal drugs on you and you claim to be a head chef somewhere, the police may not just take your word on that
