Windows 11 gives you ten days to revert. After those ten days are up, Windows deletes the files needed to revert.

I have windows 11 on my cheap 250 dollar laptop and it runs flawlessly. My laptop is a whole lot faster than it was before, I'll tell you that. Windows 11 performance differs on a case-by-case basis. Some people have an excellent experience, and others may have issues. I say at least give it a shot, and if you don't like it, you can always revert.

I downloaded the "PC HEALTH CHECK APP" anf it says : You need the Windows 1, version 1803 to download the app.
I already have the Windows 10!
Mine downloads pretty fast but when it reached 99% in step 3, It barely moves. It's been the same thing for like 2 hours
i have left my pc on over night. its still on 99%... im so pissed off rn

what happens if you download it, and it says failed will it put you back on windows 10 will you keep apps or you will have to redownload everything back?
What if Windows allowed freely switching back and forth between 10, 11, etc.?
That would be a bit dumb because your constantly switching os and yk things break ur pc may crash during changes between 10 and 11 and may mess something up

Windows update says my PC doesn't meet requirements, and to check PC Health app, but PC Health app says my PC meets all requirements and is ready for Win 11. First bad sign.

Is that another of those "Windows rewritten" projects like ReactOS that essentially get nowhere?
@@dftfire ReactOS lacks resources to rewrite the DOS. Revision OS is just a Windows stripdown.
@@thyscott6603 FreeDOS already exists for that.
ReactOS is still stuck around the Windows 2000/Me era and before. They'd be better-off cancelling their intention to make a free alternative to modern Windows, and instead just make a Windows 98SE clone that can run on modern-hardware. They'd likely be more interest in that, given how much modern stuff is becoming a website or app, so Windows isn't as needed as time goes on
@@thyscott6603 I'm not sure I'd trust a stripped-down Windows to work fully, either... check the release notes for the "NTLite" project and see how with each new release they have to address an issue the previous one broke.

You need atleast 8th generation cpu, atleast 4 gigs of ram,must enable tpm 2.0 and must have atleast 64 gigs of system disk and processor must have more than 2 cores
Hi, I installed windows by deleting all partitions, make a new one and install windows. Instead I think I should have just deleted everything and click ' install windows' . Everything works fine, but my PC takes like 1min max fan speed before I see the boot logo. Like my PC is searching for the right partition. Or could I be wrong as this is my first AMD PC. (Previous Intel PC booted right away)

Most people are wondering about this issue - will upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11 erase all my files? The answer is No. As long as you select "Keep personal files and apps" during Windows Setup, you shouldn't lose anything
