I haven't seen the video yet, but as someone who played the original, my prediction is that the hardest boss is the final boss of the normal worlds. We'll see if I'm right.
Okay I wasn't, but to be fair, that remake is A LOT easier than the original from what I gathered.

Edit: I was able to get the no-hit star in every boss battle. All it took was Casual Mode a bit of retrying.
Also, I’ve noticed that while Mario tries to beat DK, he worries when the gorilla gets hurt, or is in danger. It’s like they’re friends, which isn’t the same connection as him and Bowser, who usually wants him dead(and vice versa). They have no reason to be friends.

I’m on the Slippery Summit and I think first level fight with DK is the easiest, the spooky house fight with Donkey Kong was more challenging for me but with enough practice I did I beat the DK without taking damage.
