Catching Lower Deschutes River Native Hen Steelhead - Hookup to Release all on GoPro September 2023

Well after lots and lots of casts and two floats down I was able to finally hook into our target species of fish the elusive steelhead. This beautiful native hen had a great take and cartwheeled out of the water four different times while I fought her. We ended up getting her to the net and releasing her back to the wild without any hiccups. Take a look and let me know what you think!
