Ooooh! You have a Torti cat like us. We've had Torti cats for over 30 years. They are the most intelligent loving and loyal cats, not to mention very brave too! Our Torti Dubby lived to be 17 years old. She's been gone to Heaven now for 5 years. We miss her so! Our current Torti is named Poppy! Your children are always so happy and playful, the way all kids should be today! God Bless You for making a wonderful farm life home where they can be innocent and happy healthy children. That's the way I grew up. So many kids never know what it's like to live like this. I pray that God will help us change the world back to the old ways, where we follow God's laws again! Journey On!
Gma Kathy here. Maebel, those cartwheels are quite extraordinary! Ben, ,such a lot of grand effort for a noble cause. Apples, my favorite. Many thanks!
Applewood is so good in a smoker for poultry. If you put a tarp in the back of your pickup B4 you load it with dirt or gravel or the like then there is no sweeping to get the last bits out, you just lift the tarp and Viola!!! clean truck bed !!! I'm old and I have this experience to share with you whippersnappers. Work smarter not harder.
About 68 years ago, my mother tried everything to get rid of poison ivy along the back fence of our property. She finally tried opening both ends of a can, pushing in one end as far as possible around each cut down stem, then put table salt inside the can. I have no idea how much. She’s 98 and doesn’t remember doing it. The important part is that it worked with minimum damage to the row of fruit trees.
My FIL had an apple orchard just south of Asheville and that is s where I tasted my first Wolf River apple. It was late Oct and the fruit was perfectly ripe; oh so good. Would love to see you wearing some eye and ear protection while using your chainsaw. I've found Bert's Bees poison ivy soap really works for me. I'm sure you know not to burn that stuff 😏.
You probably know that the dry vines of poison ivy can be as nasty as the green stuff. When we lived in NC many years ago, I found each bout of it got a bit worse. Take care. Love having your girl-fam back. You’re an awesome girl-dad.
Cool! Do you guys know how to find a co-op here in Georgia zone 8 in the north east around 85 Fwy farely close to South Carolina border? Big box stores bring fruit trees in but honestly they have no clue. Thanks a lot!
Did I say that I am so happy you guys are back…. This family makes my heart happy to watch ❤

Thanks for another fun, wholesome video! And as your daughter said, "...if there's a snake, be brave."
GREAT CLIP. THANKS FOR SHARING.

I think I would have taken grafts off the old apple tree
Hm. Good idea. Haven’t learned to do that yet.

This is already 2 days old but what ever you do don’t burn poison ivy. I’m super sensitive to poison ivy and the smoke can harm you too.
👏👏👏

I’d look to the county extension office. 🙂
