Just discovered your channel, great to see guitarist with good taste and sensibility when playing, refreshing to see. It’s become one of my favorite channels.
@@philby8thanks for the fast response! Well, I am not going to play live so the VC15 might be nice. I will just play and record stuff in a rehearsal room. I was in doubt because of the speakers really. Your amp sounds nice though, I like it.
@@Lalairu beware of the VC30. It has a weird EQ setup with the EQ in front of the last preamp stage. The VC15 has a conventional setup with the EQ after the preamp. A lot of people don’t get on with the VC30 drive channel as a result. The VC15 is absolutely fine for gigging, just mic it.
VC15 vs the Cub - lets just say I sold my Cub, but soon acquired a VC15 to replace it, with the exception of the GH30, the VC15 is one of the best things to come out of the Laney stable IMO.
Cub Super is single channel. The Lionheart 12” combo is the closest to the VC15 in the current lineup: it has the same preamp and EQ but a different power amp section. It’s also a lot pricier and heavier. The great thing about the VC15 was that it was a switchable two channel amp with a proper series fx loop (except for the earliest models which had a stupid parallel loop).
I have the blonde VC15. It absolutely bangs.
Great demo, and there's something quite special about your playing
Thanks !

Thank you very much !
Great amp great guitar and awsome player
great playing!
The VC range sounds amazing. Can't decide between the VC15 and the VC30 though. PD That Les Paul is gorgeous!
Thanks ! I'd say that it depends on the level of headroom that you want / need

@@nstrugI finally got the VC15 second hand, I will order it soon. Thanks a lot for the advice :)
@@nstrug I will try to upload something when I can :)
I'm the proud owner of a VC15 which I've had from new. Why oh why did Laney drop this range? Does the Cub 15 come close?
