you're passing over a lot of value on the rares. it's not all about just mythics and fetches. that free spell cycle of rares are worth a decent amount each
I've seen several people complain about vexing bauble being a 1 drop, but correct me if I'm wrong, because I may be stacking this incorrectly, but if it cost zero, and you cast it, wouldn't the card immediately counter itself?
@@lunarlight3131 EV = Estimated value of the cards inside the box. Buy a box for $100 get $100 dollars worth of playing cards in return. Some boxes end up being worth well below what you paid for them in single card values added up.
I am not sure how you guys are looking at rare or mythic but personally i just look at how good the card is and/or if it has any value. A mythic pile is useless if the cards sits at 1 Dollar and you put a flare which will be easily 10+ in a different pile. You just mix up cards, have to check them later again etc.
I have such a hard time buying a box. I usually buy a bundle and the singles I want. Bloomburrow might be the only set I buy a box. Haven’t made my mind up yet.
Nah, stay with the "singles + bundle" if you really like a set. If you do that and then support your FLGS with like maybe a pack or two each visit then you'll most certainly hit a good number of pack cracks for randoms and you'll already have your favorites so everything else is gravy. Redundant justification of my luxury carboard rectangle addiction: Personally, I'm probably not even gonna buy one of the precons with this one because the only commanders I'm interested in are Necrobloom and Cayth. So I'm basically tallying up the price of bundle + precon (what I probably would have gotten) and instead considering that sum (about $150) for singles. If the singles are cheaper than the randoms, then I just buy singles. In my case, I'm "overbudget" per say so I'm just grabbing the things I like.
@@Jesse_The_Enchanter If even 50% of people bought a pack, snacks, or cheap singles at the FLGS on game night that support would actually allow them to grow.
buying boxes, espcailly for this price, is in my opinion only good if u want to support your LGS, if not don't. This set is so expensive that buying singles is the only right play. I myself did buy one box to support my lgs and because i wanne open a box of this product, but overall wouldn't really recommend it as boxes seem very flip/ high risk high reward, but good support for lgs cause they are stuck with the product
@@JenteSama1 I ended up buying a gift bundle because that was about all I could afford. The process are senseless, even though it’s a “premium” product.
Pulls the most expensive card in the set “well it ain’t a fetch land :(“ lol

Great box! As an older player I don't need fetchlands so I want a box just like this! Congrats!
lol you are my inner monologue. “Oo signed art card! We are hitting it big!” As I crumple it up and toss it in the trash.
Two titans not a bad box. Thanks Dan
fetch lands, even reprinted, will always retain value......except maybe the Heath lol
To scour for only one thing is the best road to feeling like you gained nothing.
The 3 titans are gonna be 4x the value of a fetchland after MH3 has been opened to death, so im not sure your box was that bad.

No because it would be on the stack and not on the field.
Then when it hits the field its not on the stack
Wow! 😲 37 Fetch Lands?! That's over 1 per pack! Congrats Dan! Edit: All Windswept Heath's too, strange. 🤔
Well... You got yourself a box of cards again. Think you hit the EV?
🤣
