Another tech tip for those that don't already know, crank your wire speed up all the way when you put in a new spool of wire and don't forget to turn it back to where you had it previously set at when you get the wire fed through.
I have been watching, stopping, and zooming in on the welder in many videos, trying to get the make and model of what welder chad likes and uses. Please let me know. If you could message me this info, I'd appreciate it. I love the channel. Ignore the haters. Great information 👍
Post anything we'll watch it 😊❤ react to music/ movies, cook/grow food....day in the life of Fina ❤ drone footage of Chad's builds whilst driving them, take us in the antique shop when you buy/browse 😊😂 show us the old projects we miss ❤🎉
Oh yeah ..double the pleasure of watching Bad Chad builds ..now for streaming cameras mounted around the shop and yard activated by motion ..soon hopefully Jolene will start a merchandise channel that highlights the merchandise from the front facing container store ..Hiltz Inc branching out ..!!
Hi Chad ,Jolene ,Nate and Doug.. I have a 1995 Lexus es 300 I am fixing up for my son to have, Might not be an American car but it’s dependable and runs great .keeps me busy at 60 ✌️🍀 positive vibes from California 🌞
Thanks for the tec tip video. Wish I could watch more this video aloud me to do so. You guys should put up a live feed that we could watch a full work day. Love the content keep up the great work.
Love the detail welding work on the French bumper. Wasn't sure about the low hanging fangs on the bumper but now I see they actually add to the overall front pulling the eye into the full picture with the front, headllights and downward and outward. Car is really coming together. Great work, as always, Joelene. Take care.
Hey Chad, loving the build! I know you wanted a certain look and I wanted to throw out a suggestionn that might be right in line with your Bellybutton. What if you made a visor style hood over the headlights? It would give it that tucked in look to mimic the slope of the bumpers. Just a thought.
Jolene ask Chad if there's a purpose you can use the left over wire for ? Or is it just scrap . Thumbs-up Jolene and Chad love the tip ! Jolene thanks for taking the time to do the video normally I had a friend do that for me lol .
Love your show you guys build sone bad ass stuff!! Hey just so you know You don't have to take that wing nut or the center off all you have to do I push that tab and slide it off and then when you put it back on just push it and trun and it's back on!
... if not weekly or better one SHOULD blow [with your air hose] the dust off of the welder. Inside, Under, the front and the back as well as the top of the machine/welder... AT LEAST when one changes the wire...
same as you lifting your hood on your car 1s a week dip the oil, check antifreeze a quick visual of your engine compartment.. do you do that ? and by the way checked mine yesterday everything looked ok and checked the wifes car too. with any equip or machines or boats before you start if its 3 times a day you do it. 🤙
Chad you should be using the felts I dropped off when we visited in August. I was driving the 52 F1 2 tone red with tilt front end and stained glass tailgate. Along with a 40 Plymouth and a 34 Ford 😎😎
Jolene could you ask Chad to explain the advantages of using mig gas verses using flux core wire. I have the equipment to mig weld but since I mostly weld outside the garage door I do better with the flux core.
you said it 2 times your not limited say it 18 more times like a child 🤙 heres the way this works you clicked on the vid and watched it.. so yea you are responsible for your actions

So glad Chad is willing to teach on his videos and he is right many times changing a spool of wire doesn't go that smoothly
Some good tips in this video and yep, you definitely don’t want to let go of the wire when threading it through. I’ve been there done that.
I always turn my feed rate all the way up so it feeds through faster
And again another Segment..."Tech Tips" great videos Chad and Jolene.
I have the same welder. Nice job guys.😁

Jolene forgot to put a mic on you? 6:08 - 6:37 I could not hear what you were saying.
Thank you for the bonus video Chad & Jolene very instructional for those needing to learn to reload the wire feed.

Really appreciate this video! Had no idea how a welder works, let alone how to load the wire!
I witnessed a miracle! I don’t think I’ve ever had the wire feed right in like that.
Thanks Jolene for your extra content, you guys make a great team, behind every good man, there is a great woman
Great video Jolene! Keep them coming

@Jolene maybe Chad could now also french in the grill. a little more beef on the front end. I don't think it would look out of place. 🙂

Jolene, With all due respect Chad needed his mike on as he was a little hard to hear. A great lesson for many thank you !!!!
I know Chad didnt say it but IM assuming the larger wire is for larger Thicker materials and or gaps?
Thank you for sharing
Excellent teacher
next time when Jim shows up, hope you can film Chad's course to help him how to use the mig welding ...
Icari
Jolene ask Chad if there's a purpose you can use the left over wire for ? Or is it just scrap . Thumbs-up Jolene and Chad love the tip ! Jolene thanks for taking the time to do the video normally I had a friend do that for me lol .
I use mine for hanging wire while painting
Great stuff not had to change mine yet 😮
Oh your so clever chad, wish I was as clever as you... If someone can use a Lincoln mig I'm pretty sure they know how to change the wire...
you prob do !! look at what they are achieving, ask yourself what have you achieved ? well your here watching so 🤙
He’s a different guy when he works without having to rush to get it done.
Thanks J & C
Good job
Can you please show that tool from Eastwood I think, if he uses it on skirts? I'm thinking of buying one. ✌

I still think that car would look great with some big black grill! Like radiator pipes in an old house
What gas are you running

Is it expensive that wire
This car gets more amazing with every modification

Jolene, maybe any chance, if chad could explain how to adjust the mask flash settings and replace the batteries in it ?
That dummy doesn't even know there's a battery on it
@@davemunson5872 is he a dummy or you ? your here watching I know that hurts right !! 🤙
i am wondering about the bumper guards ,,,,,, will the car go up the ramp ? without scrubbing
They are coming off
Jolene could you ask Chad to explain the advantages of using mig gas verses using flux core wire. I have the equipment to mig weld but since I mostly weld outside the garage door I do better with the flux core.
Twice the shielding with Flux core wire, also known as intershield wire welding
You'll get cleaner, better welds with gas. You'll also use less wire with gas because the flux core wire is hollow.
I'm excited
Mite say don’t use that big plug and you then can use smaller spools of wire for us guys that do that.
👍👍
I always enjoy watching you two. You guys are so lucky to be able to work as a team, "Work together, Stay together"
sorry, i mean the tool for scratching/prepping the bare metal...
Do you need a licensed to buy gas for your welder
No
Woooooooooooooooooow!
