And what parts of the body are considered inappropriate if touched. Not just by strangers but everyone. Children need to be TAUGHT most things in life. If you don't warm them about these behaviors then you're setting them up for failure. Had I been taught on that subject prior then there would've been a different outcome.

There was a previous version of this video depicting the niece refusing to hug the uncle. In dysfunctional families, this type of behavior actually exists. The true tragedy is that it often goes undiscovered. Or even worse,if the victim says something, they aren't believed. Horrific and abhorrent actions against children by older relatives should not be tolerated and dealt with harshly. That's just my assessment of the situation. 🧐🙏🏽

and now I have trouble trusting people and thinking everyone has bad intentions (if I had a child I KNO that would be on 1000) and I also have trouble telling people no and I'm a terrible people pleaser, I was the great niece raised by my great aunt and uncle, it was always "red nail polish is too grown, go put some shorts on you don't want nobody thinking of you like that, those pajamas are too see thru and your uncle will be up soon" it was always shit like that, and Mimi called ME weird when I would stand if front of my door while his younger granddaughters would change in there bc they used to get dressed in the living room. I could go on for Days about the shit he did.
P.S.S: When I was 15 I went to foster care, around that time my bio mom finally told me she knew I was telling the truth bc when she was 17 (also pregnant with me mind you) he had asked her if he could pay her for sex since Mimi never let him do it with her while she was pregnant.
another thing, my great great aunt was 14 when they met, he's 11 years older than her. they got married when she was 18 and pregnant. they met in the 60s.

I was confused but I went about my business. My mom walked up to me and handed me clothes and told me to change. Since I was 8, I just started changing right where I was standing. My uncle got upset with me and left. I had no idea what his problem was until I was an adult and overheard some of his conversations. I'm so sorry this happened to you and your mom laughed it off.
When my oldest was in jr high her bf at the time pressured her mentally and physically into having sex. This lead to the entire jr high stemmed from a jealous ex he had bullying her with texts telling her to off herself, rude rumors "she has blue waffle" the fake vd of 2012 era. She began starving herself. I was the only one she trusted to talk to. She was afraid to talk to anyone else. Cops said it was a school issue, the school said to go to the police.
To shorten a long story, I coincidentally met his mom at a meeting once. She was talking about her troubled kids and how one was in residential housing and that she was from the same neighborhood as myself. She mentioned his first name and I knew. After the meeting a friend suggested she talk with me as we were from the same area with kids the same age, she didn't know of course. I told this woman I'm not the person she should be talking to, her son raped my daughter, and that led to a chain reaction of death threats, being jumped, an eating disorder and having no friends at school. I mentioned my daughter's name. She knew immediately who she was and began crying and attempted an apology. I said respectfully, i hope you and your son get the help you all need. --- the meeting was AA and she was blaming her kids for her drinking.
My daughter had come a long way. I'm proud of her every day. she still struggles with any type of relationship due to trust. She knows I'll have her back and an open door any time. I can't imagine not sticking up for your own baby no matter what age.

I ended up busting him in the head with a toy when I was hiding in the bathroom and he came peeking in.. so she ended up telling me.. we were never close anyway but as adults she ended up telling her mom and everyone and no one believed her.. I instantly spoke up for her.. Idk how that feels to be put in that situation when nobody believes you but I can’t imagine how betrayed she felt.. I saw his nasty behind on FB as a friend suggestion, and I exposed him to the world.. He ended up being found to make the same type of creepy comments to other distant young female relatives online.. Idc I don’t respect creeps no matter who it is and I will expose you..

Most likely he was being "funny" or at least trying to be. A lot of people don't understand comedy/humor/jokes anymore. I mean if he clarified that it was a literal joke then why basically accuse the man of hitting on his own niece. He explained it, she okay'd it that's the end of it. Should be anyways. Just seems silly to still claim it wrong.

As a man I was offended at first seeing videos on this page with a theme like this. Initially i thought like... what???...thats weird the niece wont hug her uncle. Implying he's being creepy or has deviant intentions. Making the situation into something more than it is. I guess i thought to my experiences with my niece's and they would NEVER feel uncomfortable hugging me. They run to me and hug me! But then i thought about how that came from a privileged position. I am blessed to have that bond and trust and love with them. Its sad this has happened so frequently and still happens where "family" members prey on young kids...boys and girls. Its sick...the absolute most evil thing you could do. Its sad in my initial thought i forgot about all the victims, even ones i can think of smh. Yeah dudes like this could/should never be around. In my book there is NO pass for this. "Family" or not. I wish a man claiming to be the uncle of one of my nieces makes a comment to say shes "bad"....it would absolutely be the last time buddy would have the opportunity to do that! I guess the point is to stop and question your own privilege and think of those affected. At least consider the other side and perhaps why someone feels this way.

Meanwhile I swear all my uncles thought I was a boy if I wasn’t at church or a special event (prom, graduation, ect.) at most all I got was them talking to my mom “she’s grown in to a beautiful young lady”
When they compliment me at my college graduation “you look SHARP pea head. She actually clean up nice. Don’t let them eyelashes fly you away” 😂😂😂😂mind you they all were teary eyed
I love my uncles, sarcasm and jokes are how me and them show love #respectfully

I LOVE that you physically stepped in front of her. Not just telling him off, but keeping his eyes in appropriate places. And also, that you kept your hands to yourself cause if my brother or brother in law basically asked my daughter on a date I'd make him $h!t his teeth.
