My chev used to break down all the time on star always saved me
Funny thing about the diagnostics , it will tell u the code then u can look up what the code means example a code said lets say c33 lets say u look it up that code means misfire in cylinder 3 meani g a spark plug has 2 be changed, buuuuut you take it to the dealership and they will charge you 100$ for them to plig in the diagnostic computer to say tje same thing, i cant even say hey can u change the spark plug in cylinder 3 , they will say the onstar diagnostics isnt as accurate as thiers is. Do u see a conflict of interest here lol?
It's a business buddy and everyone got to eat ...but look on the bright side my UA-cam friend... Once onstar tell you the problem don't go too the dealship running your mouth... Just take the diagnostic from onstar go the mechanic shop in your area and explain to them what you need to get fix... And you should be able to save so money that way fuck the dealership bro ...
My car dealership was charging me $700 for size 225/55r17 tires on I got those same tires on eBay for $245 so I said to myself FUCK THE DEALERSHIP.

Can you use the onstar to unlock your doors if a family member is driving it and lock the key in but your away from the vehicle can it be unlock remote?

Okay my son-in-law had a rental we had the key key to the car but not the fob we called OnStar we thought oh boy they're going to help us on Stars worthless I would not buy OnStar would not use OnStar

@@jpali3894 like I said my son-in-law had a rental he had the key fob back at the house in his shorts we took off went to a gas station then we went to the zoo he shuts the car off turns the car back on it starts right up shut the car off again we going to the zoo we do our thing in the zoo come back out the car you unlock the car with the key and push the button to start it and nothing he calls on Star tells him the situation can they remotely start it they say no we're stuck in the sweltering Heat for 3 and 1/2 hours when the mother in law brings the key fob then we can go home
@@MrMikeyx007 onstar can't remotely star anyone's car bro...if thats THE case I would have them start up my car every morning for me at 430 am so I can drive out in a warm car at 5am lol...
@@MrMikeyx007 lolol OnStar isn't OnStart to keep you chill. Also not all rentals have memberships so the only thing you can use it for actual real emergencies. I.e. Medical/Police needed on the scene.
The whole thing is a giant privacy violation. Just look at their privacy policy
