There's evil in Angel, Apocalypse didn't have to dig not far to find it.
That's one of the reasons why Xavier recruited him for the X-Men, because he didn't want an evil streak getting loose.

Nate in this story is still weaker than the feats he showed in his inception but stronger than his depowered state after he burned out his powers. Still, it seems like the life seed actually restored him. As for touching every mind on the planet, it has been done already by other telepaths without aid too. I think marvel needs to do more solo books with the focus on showing off the current status of people's powers. I think in recent years they have handled Bobby really well in terms of showing hm unlocking more of his omega level potential.
I just got the last 3 issues of this story a few days ago. I'm a huge Nate Grey fan and Legion has always been very intriguing to me. But Nate's powers seem consistant with his powerlevel from the 90s.

Even as a kid, I remember thinking Jean Grey was useless and I attributed telekinesis to weaklings early on.
Her powers continue to grow as she ages. We might see how it changes over time. I still missed Phoenix with Jean. They never even explained the WHITE Phoenix.

I think throughout this story up to issue 11 reflects so much of what has happen to xmen comics and so much a representation how it was written. Too much repeating the same storylines, too much powerful mutants, too much children playing god, too much new xmen teams, and too much timeline problems. I love how Nate and Legion talk about being sons and how they were forced to make up for their fathers actions just like xmen had to constantly deal with the issues of older comics.
Trying to put things back to the way they are despite the fact that it may not be the best is an interesting dillema

Wow, I might actually start buying comics again. This sounds legit. I know for me, I like to see the way the world could be better in comics. Having a mutant god wipe away world religions is the best thing I've ever seen. I like this Nate Grey.

The richest people in the entire Marvel comic history have to be the construction workers that live near the Xavier Institute. That things been destroyed and rebuilt every other year since the 70's. And that's not even mentioning the hush money for the crazy ass underground hanger, Danger room, and Cerebro...how much is the fucking tuition to go to this school?
