- My first attempt at this kind of thing. Featuring an improvised tune I did with a friend called Bob.
Aldous Huxley was a great many things you don't see too much of today. He's worth getting to know, if you ever get the chance.
A few quotes by Mr. Huxley for those who like words:
"Every man's memory is his private literature."
"Happiness is not achieved by the conscious pursuit of happiness; it is generally the by-product of other activities."
“It’s dark because you are trying too hard. Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly. Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them. So throw away your baggage and go forward. There are quicksands all about you, sucking at your feet, trying to suck you down into fear and self-pity and despair. That’s why you must walk so lightly. Lightly my darling….”
I LOVE your work!! Can't believe this hasn't gotten more attention.! What an amazing talent!!!
Love this!
Do you touch the canvas to do the parts like the eyes or glasses? I’m trying this with lack... but in few hours gets distorted because it bleeds
I don't think I touched the canvas when making the finer details, but I do remember having to slow down a ton. If your medium is bleeding, I'd recommend getting something very thick: I used latex house paint. Enamel also would work.
What kind of ink do you use?
Do you mix anything in ink?
It's cheap, black latex house paint. Ink would be too runny. You need something semifluid. Also, the binder in latex makes it very flexible, so there is no cracking of the paint.
Can you say clearly what u exactly use?
can you be more specific please?
