- Genie+ is Disney's new "skip the line" service and it's...COMPLICATED. There are a lot of rules to know and tricks to use it successfully - how much can you REALLY do in a day with it? Molly is headed to not one, not two, not even three, but ALL FOUR Walt Disney World theme parks on a quest to ride the biggest rides across the parks with Genie+. Is it even possible? Excellent video!!! The tips and tricks are always spot on and greatly helpful. Editor - great stuff as usual (dramatic music for the 120 minute rule, the cheeseburger pod eating sequence, letting us listen to Molly singing while racing for the monorail...). Luv how Molly thanks cast members (like when tapping in). They work so hard and get so little recognition. The competitive Molly even got to include test track - one could tell she had that as a personal goal for the day (BTW thanx for the Pinocchio reference while in line). Even got Concourse B for Soarin'!!! Such a fun and informative video - keep up the wonderful work!!!
I am going to go ahead and say it, the editor is the most underrated member of the All Ears Team! I literally laugh out loud watching these older videos with the quippy texts!

Thank you Molly! Between you and AJ at DFB my hubby and I are excited to return to WDW after 5 years of not being able to go between kids graduating and COVID! We were a little concerned how much it would take to navigate the parks with Genie/Genie+/FancyRides! Watching all these videos has us prepared! Can't wait to celebrate Valentine's Day and Hubby's birthday in a couple of weeks!!! So thankful for all the tips and tricks! 👍
Great fun! Request: I'd love to see a video of you doing all of the Genie recommendations for rides using the free version of Genie. Wondering if it works to ride whatever Genie tells you! :)
There are other channels that have done that and they've all been disasters.

Thank you so much for the daily content. Not just daily but quality! One of my favorite times of the day is to have my lunch break at work and watch all ears!
Looking forward to the perfect day series. As whilst I appreciate the genie+ experiments and vids done so far. Mixing up genie+/lightning lanes with also using stand by lines is probably what I'll end up doing when I finally get there.

Hey! I'd been watching several of your videos on Genie+ to prepare for our trip with our son. My family and I were at Magic Kingdom on 1/19, and my wife said, "Hey, that lady has a DJI, too!" (she uses a DJI for her videos) and I turned to look and this lady with blonde hair and gray/white outfit with mouse ears goes flying right past us in a hurry holding her DJI steady-cam. I was like "I think that was Molly from UA-cam!" We were right by the entrance to MK when we saw you. I tried to say hello but you were booking it! Ha ha! Now I see you had to get to Big Thunder Mountain RR for this challenge! Thanks for the videos, they really helped us have the best family vacation of our lives!

Thanks Molly for showing us all 4 parks in one day! Genie + was totally worth it for us! We have a member of our family (dad) who is not a fan of waiting at anything. He's a great sport but the Genie + made the trip much more pleasant for all! Sad but true....we paid the $$$$...I guess that's what Disney is counting on.

When we went on the safari recently a full sized rhino was getting ready to charge our jeep! Thankfully it didn’t! We saw a flamingo with its wings open with a stunning pattern. Molly you are amazing! I could never do this challenge. Fun to watch.

I love that you guys do these experiments. I just wish that you would go as a tram of four, so that people with family can get a better ideas if Disney genie plus is worth the money. My family and I were there in November and we where only able to get on two rides. I’d love to see you were an outcome would be now. Thanks
you don't select your party until after you're given the time, so it's fair for all. if she can get it as a party of one, you can get it as a party of 4 or 6 or 8.
This is fine as a local who knows their way around the parks but looks like a nightmare for a visitor. So stressful and no time to appreciate the Magic
It is a nightmare !!! You pay for genie plus and they are not even available !! I really hate the new system, Disney has lost the magic
That's true. But I think this video is more a way to give you tips for specific rides and using Genie+ as opposed to promoting this as a game plan. You can still use her tips for the type of vacation you want.

as a local who used to be a tourist, I completely agree! The new stuff confuses me now but if i were trying to plan a trip I would be completely lost! It's just too much

If Disney would back up the hopper from 2:00 to around Noon it would make it worth the work. Oh and would it really hurt them to give us the ability to have more than one LL at a time.

Did 4 parks in one day for the first time last week and boy was that fun. Highly recommend for any Disney die hard
Just back from Disney (didn’t see Molly 😩) and we used genie + 2 days. It definitely helped us with park hopping to get those main rides in. We learned so much more this video we did not know! It takes a few tries to master for sure. Remember to keep refreshing and don’t book times out to the end of the day. Try to keep them tight

Great video Molly!!! I splurged for a single day on my upcoming short trip to Orlando. I have to start in Epcot cause DHS and MK weren't available hopefully I can use Genie+ to do my favs in the 4 parks but it'll be June so I'm worried it's going to be crazy busy
The scary dinosaur on the ride terrifies me the way the Ursula animatronic scares you. In the picture they took last time I was there, I'm cowering in the seat...
It just seems to me that this new system doesn’t allow for being ‘in the moment’. As soon as you check into your ride you need to book the next one. I feel like I’d spend my whole day on the phone instead of focusing on being with the family and watching the kids enjoy Disney. Am I off base?
I did the same with the old fast pass system. It became a challenge for me and I loved it! Haha!
This was also an extreme version of using the system. Most people don’t attempt to visit all four parks in a day. Videos like this are just fun ways to share tips and tricks to maximize the system. The same information can be used for a much more laid back day.
Another fabulous video as always! I do have a suggestion. When you do these park challenges it would be helpful to know the crowd levels (1-10) of each park for that day. 12 rides/4 parks on a crowd level 5 or 6 may be possible but what about days that are 8-10 crowd level? It helps just to have that context.
Basically every day has been quite busy recently! This day was probably a 7 or 8.

Ha, I did my own four park challenge on February 1! Through a combination of rides with short waits, Genie+ and single rider lines, I was able to hit 11 rides, 3 full shows, and a fireworks show!
Making me tired just watching Molly 😅. Bravo!
After using Genie+ in Disneyland and trying to help my friend use it in Disney World last week...good lord it is so much easier to use in Disneyland. I hope World implements some of the differences but I don't think they will since it sells out every day.
Everything is easier at Disneyland! Haha I loved the Maxpass system there and it seems Genie+ is pretty much acting the same except for the extra $ for ILLs.
Can you please do a video of the seat guide you mentioned? I'm sure I can't be the only person that learns/remembers things better by seeing it then they do reading it!

If we want to do this, but are staying off site do you recommend parking at Hollywood studios and using Disney transportation for all of this, or should we park our car at Epcot since it’s the last stop and take transportation to HS to get started?

Regarding the grace period - we were running super late because we had an LL scheduled after a park hop and we were able to scan into Star Tours about 12 minutes after our normal time (the touch point still turned green). If I had to guess, maybe it's up to 15 minutes late? It also might depend on the ride though, since Star Tours isn't super popular.

Needed this especially since we’re going to the parks VERY soon, and will be trying to do 3 or 4 parks in just 2 days (we’re still debating if we should go to animal kingdom or hold off for our next trip). We have Genie+ for both days!
Go to animal kingdom it's a gorgeous park and has great food

I was seated next to a young kid on Dinosaur a few weeks ago, and half way through the ride I heard them scream “I DON’T WANT TO RIDE THIS ANYMORE” 😭😂

Going to Disney during Christmas time with a large group (several different families, about 20 members) would it be best for us to try to book genie+ rides through each individual family or for one person to try and book everyone?
Question! Say I am a resort guest. At 7am,
I go in and book slickly dog at 11:30am, get Rise for the afternoon, could I then immediately go back into Gene + after booking Rise and get a lightning lane for say 10am since I activated the 120 minute rule? Or does booking that 120 minute rule option only apply once I am in the park or once the park opens at 9am? I hope that makes sense.

Haven’t been to Disney since 2009, but we’re planning a trip for next year with our 5 year old so I’ve been watching all of these videos. Wow does it look so much more complicated than I remember. The Genie+ stuff stresses me out just thinking about it 😅
So I caught Test Track and Spaceship Earth… but what are some of the other attractions where you have to double tap vs being able to get to fiddle fiddling right away??

12:40 - soooo we were that family of 5 that showed up late for 3 attractions (SMH) and i'm talking like 45 minutes late. For the first attraction, I think it was Toy Story Mania, we mentioned we were late and if they would still allow us, he said go ahead and scan. It turns blue for several seconds but while you're still holding your magicband up to the scanner, it will eventually change to green and he said have fun! Not condoning our behavior, but if you are running late, definitely don't take it as a loss, go and scan and see if you will let you through! I was fully expecting not to be let on, in fact, I was telling our kids that we were not going to ride, so was totally shocked at this! Also, you can get into your attraction 5 minutes early with Genie+!

Does Genie Plus allow you to have a group and book different lightning lanes for different people? Meaning if I have two that want to do a coaster and two that want to do something else, can I do that? Can you show how that works?

I would say ROTR; we were lucky to get one for 12:55 last week when we were there, but they were all sold out by 7:02

Ugh. I had to tap through the tower of terror section cuz anxietyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I can to ride/watch it anymore cuz my anxiety with the creepy theme and the drop……oof. Just typing this sentence is making me shaking.

If you were doing 4 parks 1 day and wasn’t specifically doing this genie plus challenge for this video. Would you start at one park such an animal kingdom that’s not busy, just rope drop and run on to the rides while it’s quiet and start stacking up for your second park such as HS?

Park hopping on june 3rd. Starting at HS (getting everything done) until 1:30ish. Skyliner to Epcot. Pay/Ride on cosmic rewind. Then Ak for icecream coffee and everything at Pandora, ending it on Everest then spending the rest of the night at MK! (Looking to spend 4hoursish at MK) think it’s possible?
Okay so. What’s the best strategy for a hotel guest who wants slinky AND rotr? Which should I do first? Everyone keeps saying they both are gone within a couple of minutes at 7am!

This might be a silly question but do you have to pay for genie plus at each park? Or just one time purchase for the entire day and she was able to use it at every park?
Just one time ($15 per person per day) regardless of whether or not you park hop.
