Please knock out those family loans quickly (and any personal loan you owe any human). Those people, regardless of how kind they are, are noting your spending while you still owe them. It’s human nature. For example, if you’re eating out, going on trips, or buying a new car, they’re making a mental note and just avoid that. It’s best to keep your debt with a bank (and hopefully minimize that). 😊 I have my own debt journey, too, I’m not perfect, this is just a topic I hear too many people talking about behind the backs of the people they loaned money to. 😊
@@GemB78 Good! We stupidly made a car trade with a friend 18 months ago. He still owes us $1900… That’s not a small amount of money for us. I regret doing that so much!! And we see all his spending noted on Facebook. 😡 He’s not broke or unemployed.
You are SO right about this. My grandmother God Bless her, she helped my mother out throught a really tough time with lending money but...she never let her here the end of it. It was always a grand inquisition anytime my mother spent money on anything. "Oh she got the money to do this yada yada". It's not worth the headache.
Congrats making your decision & I am proud of You! I know it is not easy to share our debt but it's the beginning of everything to tackle it, great debt confession video 👍
New subbie here! Welcome to the budgeting community! My hubby and I are on a debt journey too. I love doing savings challenges on my channel to make the debt payoff more fun. It’s hard to do these confessions but you’ve done awesome! I’ll be here cheering you on❤
Hi friend ❤ new subbie here! I know it’s so hard to be so vulnerable especially about debt. We are here to support you. I completely understand the feeling you’re feeling specially with a bunch of different debts. Also have to agree attorneys are so expensive. Had to learn that the hard way at the beginning of last year. Can’t wait to finish paying it off. Excited to watch your journey!
I like to pay off the smallest ones first. This way I have less on my mind all the time while paying off the largest one or the one with the highest interest rate. I just paid off mt AMEX($91) and Best Buy($318). Now I only have to think of the one I have left CITI ($1,100)
Hi my hubby and I have both have new iPhones every due date witch is on the 22nd I go and pay an extra $15 on each phone on top of the bill it adds up quickly
I believe there is another round of student loan forgiveness, I recommend to try to sign up and do application for that. Anything forgiven will be better than nothing! Thank you for your bravery to share about this.
Keep it up, I paid off all my debt, including my house over the last 10 years. Now I'm able to save 70% of my income and live off less than 30%.
You are very brave for sharing! I can’t wait to see the progress!
New supporter! Way to go on you debt confession. I know that was hard. Keep going!
I'm a paper and pen girl, so writing down our debt made it more real to me. We're on our own debt journey too. You've got this!! 💙💙

That’s a really good point! Makes me really think about moving them up on the list
I would pay them. Skip going out to eat for a month and a couple would be taken care of.
I totally agree. I have a personal loan with/from my mom, and that is the first one I tackle

the good news is most of the balances on the first page are relatively low so hopefully you can get a bunch of them paid off quick!
Yes! Thank you for the encouragement!
Finally a debt plan that is realistic that I can go along with from the beginning.

Thank you!
Wow. I don't understand families who loan each other money. Guess i just didn't grow up exposed to that at all.
ahem ... you thought about interest rates anytime 🤔
Whats your interest rates?
What is causing your overspending?
Living above my means and being in school for so long
Compared against your assets too.
Nice content
just wondering why your view are so low
You can do this…it will take sometimes.
When I started I had 267,000 to now I have $186,955.11 I am low income wish I was a high income maybe one day
You will be earning a high income 🙏👍
@@SkyandMilo_9 thank you 😊
