Michael, part 2 was just as nice as part 1, it is nice to revisit the Chateau, from the ground up, you all have done so much to make her beautiful again. The woodwork on the fireplace is stunning. Hi to Florian, and waiting for the next video. Love from N.Y.
You can replicate the missing moulding using a CNC machine and some 3-D scanning cameras and software. There are some attachments you can purchase that attach to a cell phone even, but I am not sure how effective they are. It is also good for replicating damaged freeze work and crown moulding. The costs are generally worth it when you are looking at something the size of your chateau. Plus, you can make it a revenue source, helping other chateau owners with their specific needs (replacements, etc.)
Love the new intro 👍 such beautiful rooms, with some amazing architecture, thanks for the tour and you don't ramble, it's interesting into on the history and symbolism, connected to each era. Fascinating stuff.
The "pool table" is probably a snooker table considering the large dimensions of it. It's definitely not a billiard table because they have no pockets. But anyways a great item for in a large house like this.😉

Most days I’m on my own opening and closing each room for the day at work. It is these moments that I get to appreciate the incredible craftsmanship that goes into these stunningly beautiful rooms. There are a lot of similarities that caught my attention with Chateau de la Basmaignee and Highclere. Thankyou for such an inspiration vlog. On Facebook in one the château groups there is a master carver . He worked with Disney . His work is exquisite. He is retired .I’m sure the medalians could be replicated or like others that didn’t carve their own they made molds from existing ones. And used plaster. I’m so glad you are back. Your knowledge, talent and fun loving personality was missed. I prayed for you many days. Not that you would come back to UA-cam but that you were happy. You give us so much and so we don’t want to just take . The timber of your voice and your presence giving us a tour has a way of transporting us on UA-cam straight into the Chateau. So glad you are back!!! You mentioned you are having issues replacing the missing moldings in the grand salon. I had a similar issue and we made a mold from the remaining pieces so we could duplicate the missing pieces in resin.
It’s so obvious that you are an artist, Michael, by the way you put together the gorgeous footage of the chateau and its environs. It make me happy to see you happy.
I love the history and close up shots of the rooms. When you just see the room as someone walks thru you really can’t appreciate it like I can with this tour! One thing about Billy, the bigger it is the more likely he is to buy it.

I love the history and close up shots of the rooms. When you just see the room as someone walks thru you really can’t appreciate it like I can with this tour! One thing about Billy, the bigger it is the more likely he is to buy it.

It's so nice to see the details and history of the chateau and it's contents. The DIY is really interesting but this fills in the point of doing up these old buildings. Great filming and presentation. at the end of the opening sequence I was really expecting 'Doing it Ourselves ' Part Deux.
I saw your tours of this Chateau years ago when you did them, but am enjoying the tours again as I love this Chateau. I want to see her lived in and used often for parties, family, celebrations, love…and so much more. My wish is for all the rooms to be done and finished before other properties are purchased before this one is completed. Love and miss your filmaugraphy
