You're wrong. That's the chairman of the state traditional rulers Council. He's entitled to an official car. Constitutionally 5% of local government funds are allocated to the traditional rulers which most of them don't even get

Traditional rulers in Rivers state have always been entitled to official vehicle from the RIvers state government. Right from the time of Odili till state, the governors have often dished out cars to them. So this largess isn't new.

Who's money is used in buying these SUV for these traditional rulers. The people's money. This is bribery in broad daylight. What next, buy more SUV for the judges for official use? Is this the best use of Nigerian scarce foreign exchange use at this time. Can't this huge sum of money be used in the purchase of Nigerian made SUVS and thereby creating more jobs for Nigerians instead of Japan. These Nigerian Politicians have no respect for how the Nigerian people feel.
All traditional rulers in Rivers state are entitled to an official car from the government. It has been so since the advent of our 4th Republic. Even Wike and Amaechi bought they vehicles.
