hello this is a place close to my heart i know this place very well as i always went there with family over the 1980s and 90s i stayed up in elcapistrano village that is 20 minuet walk from town centre my dad had a villa there and spent weeks on end. there has been alot of change in the last 35 years i could say i grow up there its like a second home to me the locals are really friendly and the beaches are amazing.
Had a lovely fortnight there a few years ago. I’m going to book to go back

I have stayed in Mena Plaza Hotel and it's lovely. Maybe give it to try next time you are in Nerja.
i use to live in Nerja,i married a local it the 80s, it really was a hidden gem back then

There's a nice row of restaurants around the Rui Monica Hotel too.
We also really liked Frigliana about 3 miles inland but with stunning views, about €2 on the bus past the Lidl.
Out of season there are Tapas trails where you get a free Tapas with every drink, and takes you across the town.
It's a lovely little resort.
You can get a coach trip to Granada City too, which is well worth a visit.

Riu Nautilus Hotel in between benalmadena and torremolinos. 4 stars hotel for a woman with class
Nerja nice , in winter any of the canaries depends if you like busy resorts but most fine. Check out my playlists done some cities also.

Is there no music bars just seems quiet
only a few live music bars here and last time i was there they were struggling to keep open as the mayor wanted to ban live music.
Shame what about ones with recorded music , maybe a small dancefloor , pool table etc. Not full on nightclubs
@@GillianMcGrath yes of course there is, theres tutti frutti square which is full of music bars, and as he said in the video he was going to watch a woman sing later. Theres a couple of traditional Spanish Flamenco bars too, the laws on live music are very strict tho, not so strict on traditional music.
