One piece is a verse so heavily downplayed for some reason. Im guessing since one piece has been around for so long, alot of people stopped reading/watching and they just assume luffy is still this island level fodder. Which wouldve been pretty accurate except he got a massive power up in base and a new transformation which he didnt use till 4 arcs into the timeskip and has been getting stronger much faster lately. Basically he went from sub island to continental+ in that 2 years of training. For context, thats more progress than dragon ball's 3 years of training for the androids, where piccolo at bare minimum got 200x stronger just because hes become comparable to ssj vegeta. (Which both are at bare minimum double the strength of namek ssj goku. And now he has the ability to see into the future, bypass defenses, AND ignore durability. For context, if superman were to just stand and take an advanced armament sword slash, and he doesnt pull back the moment he feels pain, he would absolutely get cut in half. That is how potent having a defense bypassing and durability ignoring attack is. It basically allows one piece characters to punch way waaaaay above their weight class.
Nah bro. Kaidou didn't even get bisected by Odens slash OR zoro both of whom used advanced conquerers which is just superior to advanced armament. Bo way you seriously think superman is getting g cut by zoro
@yaseennechat4090 umm, because they have haki to block the haki? Also the main reason haki doesnt just split people wide open is the same reason no one has ever completely sliced superman in half with weapons that we know would evicerate him. Like in the fatal 5 movie, instead of just cleaving superman in half (since supes wasnt aware of the weapon's properties) he just gets a cut to the belly. Its just plot. Imagine if that dude went for the head? "Supes killed by some super axe guy" Adv. Armament is even mor epotent than that. It is a defense bypassing(phazes through energy shields, material shields, telekinetic force field, and even time space barriers like gojo's infinity) and durability ignoring(as in it will slice through as effectively as cutting through wet tissue paper) abity. Yes 100% its cutting through superman if he doesnt just step out of the way. Best part is that haki is invisible, and you will need some level of empathic sesnsing to detect it, since haki is just the manifestation of willpower
@mlmf2012 do you think Kinemon would be able to completely decapitate or slice in half kaidou just because he has Advanced Armament.? Honestly all of that text just for you to say that someone like Kinemon would be able to cut superman 😭 come on man. This is insane No limits fallacy
@yaseennechat4090 nope because kaido has superior haki to his, hence why the cuts were very shallow when the scabbards attacked kaido. Kaido has advanced armament, luffy even learned to infuse conquerors haki from kaido in the middle of their fight, hence that moment he uppercuts kaido without touching him. Its not no limits falacy, and you saying superman cant be cut by any ability in any verse IS a no limits fallacy in itself. Superman has been cut by a multitude of weapons, magical and non magical. He has been hurt physically by darkside, showing his durability has a true limit. And weapons that ignore his durability will hurt him. Why do you think magic weapons like wonderwoman's magic sword can and has cut superman? Its because magic is not effected by superman's durability. And guess what advanced armament is all about? Hitting things as if they didnt have any durability to begin with. And in case energy shields are brought up, haki covers that too. Haki is a hax and anti hax after all, it has already been confirmed to do so many things, that in almost all cases, the only way to beat a top tier one piece character is by being physically superior, and even then, the bypassing/ignoring nature of haki just adds another layer of problems dealing with them. This is why someone like batman cannot prep and beat one piece characters unless he finds a way to be physically superior, otherwise he will succumb to a conquerors blasts and just fall unconcious. Even inside his hellbat, a haki blast will just phaze through and he'd fall unconcious regardless.
@mlmf2012 yeah bro you missed the field. I never said superman can't be cut by any ability in any verse 😭 . I'm saying that Kinemon and zoro CANNOT cut superman just because they have advanced armament. They are simply too weak to cut him
So if luffy is 3,221,225,472,000 times stronger than the average human and the average human male runs at 8 miles per hour, then luffy can move at 2.577 x 10^23 miles per hour. Divided by the speed of light (6.706 x 10^8 miles per hour) means that luffy can move ~38,427 times faster than light, that's insane
The Hody Jones energy steroids thing forced me to make a spit take. This is genuinely the first time anybody's EVER brought up the energy pills thing because roughly you can say at LEAST he just inhaled a 2³⁰ power boost. That's some dragon ball z levels of stupid big number. I never listened to a lot of people who've downplayed one piece but I genuinely had no idea the cieling could be so ridiculous.
@@CloudyDaze what's crazy is I don't really think this is the ceiling, The calc I got is genuinely a lowball because it doesn't account for any of the pills he ate before his first transformation. Most of what I've said is essentially still a low to midball
@@El_Eon_ So I definitely messed up my comment. But the ceiling itself isn't what's shocked me, but the multiplier off the pills that shocked me. Because between you and me, it always irked me that Bleach was operating on light speed scaling, based off of a Cero being "a light-based attack" and building off of that since Soul Society. Naruto in the final war arc got to light speed by dodging Madara's light fang, the attack having light properties same way ceros were described. While Bleach and Naruto certainly clear these feats and beyond easily at THIS point, it always bothered me that such innocuous feats were what made these series so cracked in the end. One Piece as a series always gets downplayed but it never seemed so ridiculous until now when you give me pretty much a concrete reason why the numbers are so big. The energy steroids themselves are WILD because they're a massive plot point in One Piece during Fishman Island. Potentially their uses can trace back to the void century, which implies everything in this world can get even farther and higher than what can be considered. This is probably the most valid proof I have heard about the validity of One Piece stats because for the pills I don't need to go into a databook and look for the key word for LIGHT. It's just clear cut and dry as "2x Multiplier for every pill you take." There's no outside source that's declared canon, the god damn fishman/narrator said it himself in the speech bubble. To rough cut it down to 30 pills, even if it was 10 that made it into his mouth, that's 2¹⁰. That alone CLEARCUTS the dumb town level allegations. Dude we need as a community to clutch on to this feat like the Jojo Community clutches onto the Sun feat in Part 3.

Me looking at the fact that you and steinixos low ball most of the scaling and it's still impressive asfk I wonder mid-high ball would be Altho the best way to be more accurate is to low ball
I’ve been thinking about One Piece power scaling and there is one bit of information that i haven’t seen anyone use be it because they are unaware if it, intentionally ignore it or for some other reason, that in my layman opinion, could drastically increase the one piece power scale, the sheer size of the one piece planet. The statement in marineford about whitebeard being able to destroy the world is interpreted usually as either meaning a surface wipe making whitebeard multi continental or as actually destroying the planet making him planet level, but to my knowledge the calcs used for the that use a planet the size of the real earth as the reference point when it’s generally accepted that the one piece planet is larger than the real life earth. Most calcs i’ve seen for the size of the one piece planet get it to the size of if not double the size of fucking JUPITER. Also from what i’ve seen online the size if the islands major arcs take place on(Alabasta, Upper Yard, Wano, ect) are roughly the size if autralia. Again, i am very much a layman when it comes to power scaling, so i could very well be wrong, either from it not being as large of an increase in the power ceiling as i think or because the size if the islands and planet being disregarded because they are made from fan speculation and calculation with little to no official support from the manga, anime or external sources like data books or vivira cards
I mean, just the sheer logic of an australia sized island needing to exist within a relatively thin belt that encircles the planet with no other islands near it tells you the planet has to be bigger by orders of magnitude. Just look at the sky view panel of alabasta, you can quite literally fit the whole f***ing earth in that frame, which is rediculous, but undeniably true nonetheless!

tl;dr at the end. According to my calculations, the average human runs around 8 miles per hour and Hordy is 10,737,418, 240 times stronger than a hum which should equate to speed as well leaving Hordy's combat speed as 85,899,345,920 mph divided by the speed of light 671,000,000 mph would be 128 times the speed of light. tl;dr: HOrdy Jones is like 128 times the speed of light

I’m interested in why you said he turned his hair into goggles when there a poof SFX when he made the goggles similar to how cosmo and Wanda summons things out of thin air. Well it doesn’t really matter cause he does summon a paint bucket and a hat out of thin air later. Also I kinda disagree with your way of describing toon force a bit because toon force is toon force which is manipulation reality in order to make a gag. I believe there is levels to toon force because the varying characters with it as we wouldn’t say tom and Jerry would rewrite an episode like bug bunny but both still have toon force. iirc oda said luffy fighting style in g5 is akin to Tom and Jerry in his interview with aoyama
@@TyRenditionI don't know what to tell you, I downloaded the actual episode, looked at the clip, his hair quite literally shapes itself into the goggles especially if you look at it slowly which I did. The sound effect is completely irrelevant to the actual effect, And as for the paint bucket honestly I've got nothing for that other than I have to wait until the anime comes out to see what they actually do with that. As for the definition like I said it's a fan-made term so arguing about definitions is really just a matter of arguing about subjectivity at that point. Also again I have to disagree with the notion of " levels" of true and force because there's no real way of explaining, quantifying, or differentiating what a level of toon force is that could be agreed upon by the entire pop culture community. Also I Believe he only said he was inspired by Tom and Jerry.
@@El_Eon_ I think the direct quote was “imagine if I was writing a fight like if it was Tom and Jerry” but I forgot you believe the anime is canon to the source material so I can’t really argue because I disagree with the anime being canon to the source material. Cuz the anime removes or adds things from the manga which can lead to different interpretations. 1070 shows the poof sound effect before the item spawns like the one cosmo and Wanda from FOP used which signifies summoning from thin air. I don’t think he grabbed it from his hair because he would’ve put his hand in his hair if he did so which neither the manga or the anime shows all he does is put his hand above his head. For the levels thing I can understand but idk I think differentiating the levels by certain characters who have this ability works imo as they have varying degrees. Yea toon force is a fan made term but even in oda road to laughtale he describes gear 5 as the ability to defy common sense which kinda aligns with the fan definition of toon force.
Great video, poor sandbag Luffy is crazy strong and will only get stronger futher into the finale sage. The sooner I get to 10K The quicker I'll make the video! In truth I think I've already formulated my entire argument for the video but I need to reread the entirety of Naruto to make sure I'm not missing and misinterpreting anything
I've seen some people genuinely try to argue that Luffy is stronger than Saitama, and after seeing this video it reinforces my belief that Luffy can stall for time at best.
With the enel light speed thing what oda said was actually a saying adults in Japan say to little kids kinda like saying the boogie mans going to get you if you don't behave so honestly i wouldn't use that foxy's beams are valid tho
When Luffy said to Blueno that he can't beat him, it wasn't just directed to Blueno. Luffy was trying to say that he can't remain how he is while there will be stronger and tougher enemies that will put his crew in danger. That's why he developed the gears, so that he can obtain the strength to properly protect them. It could be inferred that Luffy was holding back during his engagement with Blueno.
@@udonnauchegbu2018 I don't know if you can say he was holding back against blueno, I believe if anything his fight with Blueno before he activated second gear was just a reaffirmation that as long as he continues to fight the same way he won't ever be able to protect the people around him.
I'm gonna have to disagree on the toon force part because 1- luffy still believes hes a rubber man 2- his toon force feats in egghead doesn't fall under rubber abilities like putting his scars back or bringing out a black paint
@@gasterblaster6943 if he doesn't know what his df is obviously he won't be able to use it to it's full potential and he would probably learn the truth about him in elbaf
Only real gripe I have is the choice of definitions given for AP and DC (though this applies to how most of the scaling community doesn’t actually know how they should work), otherwise pretty nice breakdown, love to see Luffy get some respect.
My issue is the assumption that “AP” and “durability” are measured in terms of energy (joules or tons of tnt) out put, when near as far as I can tell they should realistically be measured in terms of stress/pressure (pascals or joules/cubic meter or newtons/square meter). Think of how people measure the durability of standard materials like wood or steel, they don’t just say it can withstand x amount of joules, their strength/toughness depends on how that energy is concentrated in terms of units of volume. If you’re interested in better understanding how I got to this conclusion, I’d recommend checking out Zaelleaz’s channel, especially his “Welcome to the Triple AP meta” video.
Not related to the powerscaling Luffy. But I was trying to make a One Piece OC with plants powers. BUT a Hispanic UA-camr said that the mori mori no mi does exist BUT it's already taken by one admiral that I forgot his name. Still I lik plants powers I think they are underrated AF.
There are many who say that Don Chinjao's feat is not necessarily continental level, mainly because to break the ice you need to hit it hard enough to create a crack and it will destroy itself, It is said to have a special layer of ice that is resistant to spikes and fire, but this is not said to be the case entirely. Can you give your opinion Eon? 🙏🏻
@@Castro7676 ok so the statement is clear, the original translation says continent. It literally said he split a continent. He didn’t just crack it, the image showed his head literally splitting it into a chasm and there is no evidence that the continent wasn’t all ice or a different kind of ice, to say that it is a different kind of ice is essentially arguing head canon
@@El_Eon_ Their argument to prove that it was actually only the upper part that was made of special ice is that it is mentioned that the continent has a "Crystalline ice cap" I mean, it is mentioned that only his cup is like that. It would be great if you could make a video debunking those types of arguments, so if you want some ideas, here are some: 1. Don Chinjao is not continental (I already told you their arguments) 2. The light in One Piece is inconsistent because if Kizaru can accelerate, he can also decelerate, it applies to all the light in One Piece because Kizaru's light is natural light,Which makes One Piece light inconsistent. 3.Luffy and Zoro are less than the speed of sound since Apoo was able to attack them without them being able to react despite the fact that Zoro and Luffy themselves say and know when an attack is coming, Since they say: Zoro: here comes another Luffy: I know So if they can't dodge it even though they know it's coming, they can't go beyond the speed of sound, plus Zoro mentions that escaping is the only option,Which indicates that the sound is too fast for him, all previous feats of light would be inconsistent by this scene. 4. Gazellaman You can make an entire video debunking those 4 arguments. 🔥🙌
I personally dislike using the “Chinjao split an ice continent” to argue continental DC for the OP cast, given that the actual showing of him splitting the sheet doesn’t feature him splitting the entire land mass, it’s only a relatively small split compared to the rest of the ice sheet. Even then the statement isn’t even needed, as it’s possible to calc Luffy’s King Kong gun to multi continental based on its ability to fracture Doffy’s 16 Holy Bullets.
If that's what your explanation of a "narrative toonforce" is, then luffy's isn't that So spoilers ahead for egghead His abilities aren't just rubber, we litterally see it throughout wano and egghead, like starting up his heartbeat by just commanding it to, making zoom googles out of hair, picking up a tree and then summoning a paint bucket and brush out of nowhere where, features on his body like his eyes and scars litterally being ripped off like stickers and more
@@kannan07 in terms of the context of The story he only affects other things within the capabilities of his rubber powers. The paint bucket I can't say for certain if you actually created it but we'll know when we get to the anime adaptation. Either way it would still fall in line within my definition because it's all for comedic effect without giving him the outright capabilities of just ignoring all forms of logic that exist within the story itself.
@@El_Eon_ his eyes and scars litterally flying off his body? Luffy only utilises rubber because he's unaware of his fruits And as for making sense within the story, with that logic, the looney toons toonforce shinanigance makes sense in terms of that story
I'm really disappointed you seriously tried pushing the 10 billion times stronger fishman argument... come on man, he's obviously not that much stronger, and the pills capped out. Pointing it out as a feat or point in your argument when power scaling Luffy against Kaido was a nothing burger, it brought nothing to the video. I agreed with literally everything else, but that has to be the first but worst point you've ever argued, and I consider you a shining example of a power scaling content creator.
This point about the fishman is exactly what you like to avoid, meaningless calculations that add nothing to the power scaling argument. If the point were true, he never displays anywhere near the hypothetical feats of power he should have displayed, he could be 1,000x stronger, 2,000 times stronger, any huge multiplier would seem inaccurate and fairly meaningless. When you applied your own multipliers to Luffy, you provided logical points to argue why they make sense, but that fishman 10 billion times point is again, super meaningless and goes against your whole style of content creation. I point it out so strongly because I definitely don't want you to develop the same habit UA-camrs like Seththeprogrammer have developed, meaningless and illogical assumptions provided as hypothetical "fact".
@@thomedenay3414 I appreciate the kind words at the end, I'll say this... I didn't pull the calc out of my ass, I use the numbers that were given to me by Canon information and honestly it is a ridiculous number. I disagree with the notion that " He's obviously not that much stronger, And the pills capped out." Because at least to me nothing suggested that hordy's strength had reached its limits or that he didn't get any stronger from the pills. Not to mention there is a legitimate feat prior to this that shows his increase in raw strength. I didn't show it in the video though I am aware of it, The uchimizu attack that Hordy and the fishmen can throw is stated to be an attack made through brute Force. They are literally just throwing drops of water and He chucked one through multiple Coral hills across an island. I'm not going to give you a call for how powerful that has to be but I'd say it at least adds some sense of the whole 10 billion times stronger than a person if he can do that with normal water. I wouldn't say it doesn't add anything to the power scaling because the information is all achievable without misinterpretation from the text of the story itself. To say it offers nothing to the power scaling in my opinion sounds disingenuous because it at least gives a quantifiable metric for how many times stronger than humans these guys might actually be. As far as other series or manga go I can't see for certain if they won't have some statements or Feats that could be quantified to such an obscene extent but as far as this goes I think it's perfectly fair to at least use. I bring it up in the video multiple times the information is right there if you don't want to use That's also fine
@@El_Eon_ I for sure agree with how you came to that number, but again, I doesn't do much at all for the video. I understand ever feat you pointed out for before and after his transformation and ingestion of 30+ pills. For me though, it seemed obvious he wasn't actually 10 billion+ times stronger, regardless of being under water. It's one of those cases where you either interperate it as the author not considering the calculations of that many pills being ingested, or you go for what I consider the logical answer, his body had a limit and after a certain amount of pills, he was definitely no where near a crazy number like a million times stronger. Now I won't go into my own analysis, just pointing out the simple calculation that popped out 10+ billion was pointless to bring up much later, and at most, would be a brief point to them move on from, I was surprised you used it again briefly.

High ball of one piece planet is Star and yeah people use this
A conservative estimate put the one piece Planet at a quarter the size of our sun.

tl;dr at the end.

@@darkdarkyt4553 I'm definitely planning on it, so glad you loved Sandbag
Only real gripe I have is the choice of definitions given for AP and DC (though this applies to how most of the scaling community doesn’t actually know how they should work), otherwise pretty nice breakdown, love to see Luffy get some respect.
I'm curious as to what exactly you take issue with?
BUT a Hispanic UA-camr said that the mori mori no mi does exist BUT it's already taken by one admiral that I forgot his name.

ngl picturing luffy flying over to a 747 on g4 just to kick someone's ass is terrifyingly goofy
It would be great if you could make a video debunking those types of arguments, so if you want some ideas, here are some:
1. Don Chinjao is not continental (I already told you their arguments)
2. The light in One Piece is inconsistent because if Kizaru can accelerate, he can also decelerate, it applies to all the light in One Piece because Kizaru's light is natural light,Which makes One Piece light inconsistent.
3.Luffy and Zoro are less than the speed of sound since Apoo was able to attack them without them being able to react despite the fact that Zoro and Luffy themselves say and know when an attack is coming, Since they say:
Zoro: here comes another
Luffy: I know
So if they can't dodge it even though they know it's coming, they can't go beyond the speed of sound, plus Zoro mentions that escaping is the only option,Which indicates that the sound is too fast for him, all previous feats of light would be inconsistent by this scene.
4. Gazellaman
You can make an entire video debunking those 4 arguments.

If that's what your explanation of a "narrative toonforce" is, then luffy's isn't that
So spoilers ahead for egghead
His abilities aren't just rubber, we litterally see it throughout wano and egghead, like starting up his heartbeat by just commanding it to, making zoom googles out of hair, picking up a tree and then summoning a paint bucket and brush out of nowhere where, features on his body like his eyes and scars litterally being ripped off like stickers and more

The paint bucket I can't say for certain if you actually created it but we'll know when we get to the anime adaptation.
