Hey buddy, very helpful. I have a question if you have time to answer; I've made a drop down list and now I want to make it so that when I choose something from the drop down list (1 of 6 items) it changes the value of about 5 cells in a column to 1 of 5 different combinations of numbers on sheet 2. You've probably already made a video about this but I'm not sure what the technical title/name would be. Thanks very much.
@Slipstream0001 I don't have a video tutorial up about this b/c it's too specific of a topic. This could be done with some hefty formulas depending on what needs to be displayed or a macro. Private message me on here and we can work something out.
I have a dependent list on an invoice. Right now I can select the type of product, and then from another list select the correct product code. The second list obviously contains selections according to what is selected in the first. Now, what I want to be able to do is select the correct product code from the second drop down list, and as I select that code, have it's price appear in another separate cell. is there a quick way to make that happen without having to create tons of lists?
+Luigik S You might be on a laptop which has "Fn" (function) keys enabled instead of the F-keys. You would then need to also hold down the Fn button, or go into your laptop setting to enable F-keys *before* Function keys,.
Thank you for this quick, clear, and useful tutorial!
